Why do the cute dogs from todays set have to have weird eyes?!? For the same reason that yesterday's "Pocketful of Happy" pups and kitty all looked very very sad. Usually I am impressed by most of the Stamptember sets even when they are not my style and I do not purchase. This year, seems like some of these were kind-of an after thought. Not really "Stamptember" worthy.

Why do the cute dogs from todays set have to have weird eyes?!? I wondered that too. My 12 year daughter would call them “derpy”. So far, I’m happy with just getting the one from Lawn Fawn.

Derpy is a good description. I could see if one of the pugs had the goofy eyes but all of them seems to limit the usages of the set. The example card where the dogs all have googly eyes is cute, but again—limited use. I’m not a pug person though, so what do I know?
This is my first Stamptember and I’ve purchased a few sets. Nothing that was to die for, but the few that I purchased, I don’t have any regrets and probably would’ve purchased them from anywhere if I saw them. I haven’t had to limit myself though—at first I thought I was going to want them all based on previous stories I’ve heard from here!

Super cute! Now I am really glad I went ahead and bought it. Now after seeing marg's post that referenced Jennifer McGuire's cards, I had to go pick up that Hero Arts stamp set. I'm pretty sure I can make those backgrounds! I really did like the Hero Arts stamp set apparently because I thought about it all day. I ended up buying it, too. It took 3 weeks for my last SSS order to get to my house (in Canada), so I'm hoping this order will be that fast, too. Usually it takes a month or more.

I just didn't think all of them needed the "derpy" eyes. lol One would have been fine. And they ALL have their tongues sticking out. I would say that this year isn't the same as they have been. Other years I have wanted to purchase WAY more of the stamps!

I LOOOOOOVE the Creepy Kit for today. And I missed it, I forgot to check at midnight and by the time I looked it was sold out. It looks like it would be so much fun to play with.

All of the Tim Holtz elements from the kit, the coffin and all, can be purchased individually. (and they are 40% off online at Joanns right now!!))

I really liked the Creepy Craft Kit and had to sit on my hands not to buy it. I have too many projects and I decided to buy the few pieces of that kit that I love. Today’s kit—I’m not as excited about. Too bright, flowery, springy, colorful for me. I usually like bright colors but the bright greens and yellows are too springy for me. Hopefully there are some fun stamps and kits coming in the last week of Stamptember!

The kits are just kid of eh for me. And this one, with crayola markers? Really??? For realz!!!!! 49.99 for a kit with 4 assorted Crayolas and coloring book images? Not knocking the artist who designed the images, and to be fair, they are technically for watercoloring, but geez. I do not see the value in this kit. Also, tropical does not say Stamptember to me. Lemons and tropical leaves, and those flower stamps should be in a summer card kit. Wonder if there are supply issues due to covid, hence the thrown together inappropriateness?

Yea...I don't really care if the markers are for watercoloring, but it seems a little cheap for me. AND it totally does seem like a summer kit. I would like they would be more fallish.

I loved what JM did with Tim’s stamp set which was a total surprise! Didn’t think it would be the snarky cats. But at $30 it’s very cute but at that price I’ll pass. Still super fun to see what all the designers made using it and you could tell they really had fun working with the snarky cats. I really liked JM changing one to make it a dog.

I cannot afford the kits, even though if you add up the value it's good (yes, the markers are a what??? but the value is still OK) because it always contains duplicates of things I don't need more of - lilke embossing powder! But a shout out to SSS for offering the items separately as well - the stamps are not exclusive to the kit - I think this stamp set is really cute and if I had the money I'd buy it by itself with the dies! I think THs cats are cute, but not my style for Christmas cards.

Whew. My wallet is safe from the snarky cats. They are cute, as are the other in the series, but I will not use them. I have the Crazy Cats ones and they suffice for all my cat needs.
There is a definite Stamptember markup on them though. 29.99 is a little high. The Snarky Cats Halloween is only 21 at SSS, and I see it as low as 17ish at other places, and it has way more sentiments and accessories in it.
I look for them to sell out fast, as the Snarky series is very popular.

OMG I thought I was the only one. As soon as they appeared in the video (ie the first 90 seconds) I opted out.

Watch the FB live that Tim just did with all the Snarky Cat videos. 50 cards and makers from Shari Carrol, Jennifer McGuire who made a dog out of the cat, Jenn Shurkus and more! Just beautiful cards! I have friends that have cats so these cards are going to them!

I have to say this has been the cheapest September for me. I only have bought the Studio Katia set. I was saving up for the card kit as last year's was amazing ($90 value for $50), but this year I wasn't impressed at all with the kit. I guess because it was their 10th birthday last year they went all out with the kit. Then I thought for sure I would want Tim's set. But although it is super cute and I love cats, It isn't my style for making Christmas cards, so that saved me. So unless anything else is released in the next few days I get to spend my $100 I saved for Stamptember someplace else.

The Greeting Farm stamp is too cutesy for me.
I did end up getting the Tim Holtz snarky cat set. I have the original set and I preordered the Halloween one so I figured I’d get the Christmas one too. Some of the sentiments are funny at least. I may or may not use the images—time will tell I suppose.

I'm disappointed in the greeting farm set. I got it last year and it was cute (penguins, I believe) but I don't care for the style of people from this company.

WOW. Brutus Monroe sold out already. Not marked across the thumbnails, but if you click it says unavailable. Unless it is a glitch. Cute, but not my style.
Glad the Snarky Cats finally sold out, because, yes, after going and watching all the fantastic makes on TH live, I was waffling. But I know deep down I would not use them. So relieved I don't have to think about it anymore, LOL.
