This sketch is from Page Maps May 2019. I created this layout using Polaroids from the dark ages! Again, the twist is to use something that you’ve had for 5 years or more. These pictures are old as well as the paper...that’s Laura Ashley vellum over a Laura Ashley striped paper, LA patterned paper banners and a LA vellum strip for the scalloped edge and held on by brads that I’ve had forever! There was no date on the paper but I know it is well over 10 years old (I have a stash of it and use it on my childhood/growing up pages).

I like the sketch with that "shelf" design. And love how you went with it on your page, KelleeM . The pp looks like wall paper, and the photos look like they are hanging from the mantle. Really cool.
Is your twist to use something 10 years old? Or can it be more than 5 like the last one?

No, stick with 5! And it can be the photo, paper, embellishments, tools, etc.

I am loving this twist! I’m finding some goodies in my stash! For this one, I found some ribbon and fiber. I can guarantee that I have purchased any fibers in the last five years! 2020 Sketchtember #14

LOVE the sketch, and your page is so incredibly pretty KelleeM. I love the colours, and the cute little envelope! For the twist, are you okay with just the photo being over 5 years old? I've only been digital scrapping for two years, and even though I started buying supplies well before that, I don't know if anything is over 5 years old. On your last sketch, I used an old photo and an element from the very first digital kit I bought.

Thanks for the fun sketch! This is my take. I used the 'Hello' kit by Dunia Designs, and elements from the 'Storyteller 2017 August' kit by Just Jaimee.

Everyone's take is so elegant and clean. Trust me to mess it up a bit! Here is my take on this challenge. It also meets the Donna Challenge for Signs of the Times, I think. And I got all the elements for kitbop 's school bus recipe!
For the TWIST, I am not sure which is older--the SB die I used or the acetate clock face--but they have both spent more than five years in my stash.
POINTS: one page created & shared (2), #1 Sketch #14 (2) plus twist (1) + bonus (5), #2 Donna challenge (5) plus three pics (3), #6 masks (1), #10 sprinkled hearts (1), #12 circles (1), #15 Sept 2020 photos (2), #28 back to school (1), #31 & 32 (2), #34 bright colours (1), #36 newest pp and old clock (1), #37 enamel hearts & dots (1), #39 all 3x5 and 3x3 (1), #42 smile! KelleeM great job using such old stash, your page is so lovely! Linda That pop of turquoise is so pretty, and I'm rather partial to a black kitty helper for meetings (mine likes to chew on my headphone cable). Off to leave praise for everyone else in the gallery.

www.flickr.com/gp/190234051@N02/5n5UC5Thanks for the sketch! I used only scraps on this layout, but I love the way it turned out! Ps first time using Flickr to attach a photo, I hope it works.

Lots of wonderful creations for this challenge!! KelleeM I really enjoyed your sketch challenge - thank you! The Laura Ashley wallpaper-ish paper is just lovely. It matches up perfectly with your photo, posed against the wall! The hidden journaling envelope is a great touch, too. I love layouts that have some kind of active element. ComplicatedLady You've got another awesome TN interpretation! I really love the colors you've chosen (love that wordy paper!) and how you've arranged your embellishments on the diagonal. AussieMeg Really fun layout! I love the bright colors and patterns you've chosen, along with the fun photos. Definitely brought a smile to my face! Chinagirl828 What a sweet layout. I love the "old timey" styled photo paired with a more modern birthday supplies. That cute raccoon really bridges the too together. wendy crowe Another beautiful layout! I love the wreath of florals and the sweet photos. I like the placement of the enamel dots - makes it feel magical! Linda Lovely colors! The photo is darling (my cats like to do this, too). I like that the arrow tells you right where your eyes should focus! grammadee Great layout! I especially like the round elements placed under the photos in opposite corners. The smattering of small hearts is really sweet, too! scrappyrabbit I like your interpretation of the sketch - you've really made it your own! I also like how you've tucked in the frames for your embellishment clusters. Cute layout! My layout for this challenge completes a double page spread, so the color palette was predetermined. The photos are from 1990 (omg)! The accompanying page includes the journaling and date.

scrappyrabbit this is so fab, I can't believe you just used scraps! Ryann Shimelle's stuff is so perfect for these photos, and all your little sprinkly bits are so pretty.

KelleeM , this sketch took me a while to do. Not sure it looks much like the sketch, but it was fun to do. Thanks for sharing it with us. I love the photos of you in by-gone days. You were just as pretty then. I love the dress you were wearing and bet you felt so pretty in it. The papers you picked couldn't have been more perfect. So lacy and dainty. Simply lovely layout! Linda , I love what you did with this. I wish now that I had used a PL card with 1 photo instead of trying to get 2 on. It didn't leave me much room for a "shelf". I love the teal pops of color. Are those enamel dots or Nuvo drops? They are the perfect color on this layout. I had to laugh when I saw your cat in the middle of things again. Seems like a theme at your house. LOL They know you love them! Ryann , your older photos look wonderful with the bright colors. I never know what colors to put with my older photos. This turned out so cute. Your tiny embellishments surrounding the photos are such a nice touch. Everything works together so well for a beautiful page. Here is mine. Inspiration
