I'm so sad that she didn't live long enough to see trump voted out!  It will be amusing (in a perverse way) to see the gymnastics that the weasel, aka Mitch McConnell, tries to pull to say why trump should be allowed to appoint her replacement. He can't. Not after Garland. And every single thing Weasel said back then about why President Obama couldn't appoint someone "so close" to the election -- every one of those weasely things is on video somewhere.  He will do it anyway because he has no scruples. He does not care. |

McConnell will probably pull back the Senate before their recess is over and try to ram a nomination through. In fact, if Bunker Boy wasn't at a rally now, I am sure he and Moscow Mitch would be maneuvering right now.

If they vote to replace her before the election, after what happened to Merrick Garland, I predict there will be a revolt.
The sickest thing is that the WH had to know she was very ill when they "leaked" Trump's short list for SC nominations a few days ago.
And the conservatives (sorry - Trumpers) are rejoicing at all the "liberal tears" being shed right now.
That poor woman worked on her deathbed to prevent us from falling into a religious-fascist state. Rest in peace.

It’s not fair that so much was riding on that woman’s shoulders. Her death would be sad enough - she was such a remarkable woman - but to have her death be so tied to politics we’re not going to be able to mourn her like we should.
