I spent thousands, literally thousands, on an embroidery sewing machine. I have never used the embroidery function. I wish I hadn't wasted that money and just stuck with my original machine.

Feeling so much better about the food processor that's been sitting unused for at least 12 months now...
Otherwise, work clothes that don't fit anymore :-P

I bought a MacBook 2 1/2 years ago and probably have used it for about 100 hours total. I have an iPad and a desktop (not a Mac) and use them most of the time. I don't think I've turned on the lap top in 2 months. I say when my desktop dies I won't replace it and I'll use the laptop.

I love my Kitchen Aid mixer and George Foreman grill and use them all the time!
I have a ton of rubber stamps that I never use. I could just never get into stamping but I would buy some every time I went to a SU party.
About 20 pairs of shoes that I just had to have and maybe wore once. I seem to reach for the same 3-4 pair every day.
I too, own a cotton candy maker. Used about 3 times.
I also own the hot dog roller, which was a gift, that I have used only a couple of times.
About 10 bottles/containers of makeup that is either the wrong color, looks terrible on, too lazy to use it, etc. all sitting in a drawer taking up space in the bathroom.

luvnlifelady I got a Margaritaville machine for Christmas almost 2 years ago, I've used it 3 times.
Every time I go to Vegas I buy salts, mixes, glasses etc. I have quite the collection.
It takes up a lot of space on the counter but I know the day I get rid of it I will want it back, therefore it stays.

Oh gosh...loads of things on this thread I use and love, but I do love gadgets, especially housey things. Our original George Foreman grill (with the bun warmer that always breaks within the first week), is in constant, almost daily use for making toasted sandwiches, so there is virtually no clean up required. For messier stuff, I just wet a paper towel and leave it to soak off the crud while we eat.
I bought a Fridji clothes steamer a few months ago, and love it for tricky-to-iron things with frills and tucks or transfer motifs, and for pretty much everything else too.
I love our popcorn machine.
I covet Kitchen Aids, but just can't justify buying one and don't want it out on my counter.
I'm not even going to try and list all the crafting things I've barely used, including my thousands of Project Life cards, which I love and use but could NEVER get through them all. Ever.

I thought of another one.
I got my husband one of those old fashioned popcorn machines last year for Christmas. Looks neat, he can put it in his man cave, I think it's been used twice.
But we are not getting rid of that thing, it cost me $100!

I'm another sucker who bought the steam cleaner. It's suppose to clean the glass top stove with ease but never worked for me. It sits piled up in the corner of the closet.

Oh lots of stuff I'm embarrassed to say: a panini maker, a George Foreman grill, my Cricut Expression (use maybe twice a year), a Cuisinart yogurt/icecream maker, 2 bread machines, the No!No! shaver, and I'm probably ageing myself but anyone remember the Ron Popeil Pasta Maker? It's still sitting in my appliance cabinet, almost brand new. I keep buying this stuff but never use it! Luckily I have (somewhat) changed my borderline-appliance-addict ways and refrained from buying anything new for almost a year. (I did cave and buy a new Vitamix, BUT we use it almost everyday!)

So how many people with an unused KitchenAid mixer bought it because of the buzz about them on 2peas? I had been coveting one for quite some time, then I read a review of one where a woman was saying she wished she had bought it years ago, and that made up my mind! I didn't want to be the person writing that review 10 years down the road. I love mine and use it at least once a week.

I finally caved and bought a Keurig. No one in my house even drinks coffee, but I thought it would be nice to use when we have guests. My family knows we don't drink coffee, so they had gotten used to the fact that we didn't have anything in the house, so no one even asks for it now. It's been used one time, and that was just my DD making cocoa. Oh well, at least it is tucked away in cabinet.

I have one that I haven't used much in the last few years either. Our old house was tiny and there wasn't anywhere in my small studio where I could leave it set up. We've since moved to a bigger house but I've been stuck waiting for cabinets/counters in my studio for the past 2.5 years, which will include work stations for my sewing and embroidery machines. (Cabinets have been ordered!! They should be in around Thanksgiving!) Once both of those things have a permanent home where they can stay set up all the time and ready to use, I imagine I'll use them both a lot more. I always think of or see cute projects on Pinterest that I would love to do, but the constant need for shuffling things around makes me not want to hassle with it.

A fondue pot. I used it twice. I'm not sure what plans I had for it, but they never materialized. I've always imagined myself with a fondue pot. In my mind's eye, I would be enjoying clever repartee with my guests, while dunking cubes of bread into cheese and sipping martinis. I have a very vivid imagination.

I love my Kitchen Aid stand mixer, I use it once or twice a week! I also loved my food processer but sadly it broke and I miss it dearly.
There aren't too many things I don't use, though I'm sure we'll eventually get tired of the cake pop maker. We are having a blast using it for banana bread bites and other fun stuff.
I'm dying to gift one of those breakfast sandwich makers to my soon to be 20 yo son. Anyone have any experience with those? Will we regret it?

A laminator . It was cheap and I was gung-ho about using it for recipe cards.

For a start: George Forman Grill, a NuWave cooker, those plastic eggs to hard boil eggs...
I love my Kitchen Aid. I use it more once I found a spot on the countertop for it. I bought the slicer and shredder attachments that stunk and gave that to my sister. I'd love a new waffle maker but the one I have has the plates that are removable. I can't believe that the new ones don't do that? I'd like the new pressure cookers but I'm afraid it would get unused like the NuWave.

You should look into selling those stamps on ebay, depending on which ones you have and how old they are, you may be able to get some good cash for them. A friend of mine made quite a lot of money on some retired stamps she had laying around!!

Got one for my birthday and use it regularly. I love that you can wash the interior pieces in the dishwasher. I love and use my kitchenaid pretty much weekly, but I still do have my hand mixer for certain things. We also love our George foreman, though it is a PITA to clean.
I'm not sure if we have anything I "never" use. I rarely use my waffle iron, love my crock pot, use my bread machine often, though not frequently. One of the side effects of being flat broke I guess, lots of stuff I'd love to have and no funds to purchase it.

It's so funny to read this. We use our popcorn machine at least twice a week! It's in our theater room and we make popcorn for movie nights or just to watch sports. I use my kitchenaid regularly. I also use my quesadilla maker and george foreman at least once a month. I do have 5 (yes 5) fondue pots. Granted we don't use them often but it's great to have them all when we do!
I didn't buy but was given an ice cream maker. 7 years still new in the box! Does that count?

I didn't buy but was given an ice cream maker. 7 years still new in the box! Does that count? Ha ha, I think it counts! DH got one for Christmas one year from his sister. It sat in the box never used for over FIVE YEARS under the kitchen table because there was nowhere else to put it. I used the box as a foot rest when my office was under construction and my computer was on the kitchen table. One afternoon my nephew happened to come over and he saw it under the table. "Cool! An ice cream maker!" I asked my sister if he could have it, and gave it away. When DH came home from work THAT SAME DAY he immediately noticed it was gone. "What did you do with the ice cream maker?" I told him I gave it to the nephew and he got all mad at me. "There you go again, giving away all of MY STUFF!" Seriously, we never used it once and DH doesn't even like ice cream so I didn't understand why he was so upset!

We have two ice cream makers that sit unused. One was a gift to DD and one was a gift to DH. I don't have the freezer space to permamently store the bowl so it's pretty pointless. One is a nice Cuisinart.
