They are having a second chance to sign up for the Facebook part of the 6 x 6 class in case you missed it last time. It was/is an amazing deal for $12. Sign up ends in a few days.

I've been following Nicole Bingaman ( bingaling here on 2PeasRefugees) as she's been scrapping along with the class using the sketches. Check out ColieBing on YouTube. She has tons of process videos for 2 page multiphoto spreads.

She has tons of process videos for 2 page multiphoto spreads. This made my day! (and it's been a "day" lol) I am so glad you are enjoying the videos. I often wonder what viewers likes, but then again I make videos sharing what *I* enjoy or it's not fun lol. I'm soooo glad to be on the last group of 5 sketches - I broke them into groups of five to work on them. I'm debating about working through the single page sketch bundle next...

I started watching your videos a bit back and they actually inspired me to go back to the Scrapbook Generation layouts. It's helped me catch up a TON with my scrapbooks!

And I’ll add that I’m glad I read about this class and participated in the first group. I’ve probably done about 50% of the sketches. But I’ve already reused a couple. So to me it’s a great value whether or not you plan to use every sketch.

I really enjoyed the class, too. Allison is amazing, she put a lot of effort into the sketches, descriptions and alternative sketches. So much inspiration in the class and a great deal for only $12. I have a few favorite sketches that I have already used again, in one case 5 times, I think with different albums & different collections.

With all of the options (about 12-14 per sketch), you could use 6 x 6 paper for a year and not finish them.

I haven't made a traditional scrapbook page in years but this thread is inspiring me to get out of the pocket pages and back to my roots! Just followed bingaling and I love the fact that your videos are generally under 15 minutes!

I have actually kept up with this class. One layout a week for 17 weeks so far. Some of the sketches I've looked at and thought ick - but they have turned out so good. I hope she does another class similar to this. Oh and if you don't have a 6x6 pads you can just cut down 12x12. There are few layouts I did that too. You can buy the sketches for $12 anytime, but you can't get only get into the free "class" Facebook group for a short time. The layouts people are posting are very inspiring.

SG is allowing anyone who bought the sketches and participated in the first FB group to join the second FB session. That’s terrific since I got behind after a few weeks. Allison is very gracious to extend the opportunity to us.

It is an amazing deal for the price of the sketches. I fell far far behind, so I joined group two. I really want to follow along and take advantage of the extra info on sketch variations.

I’ve really enjoyed group one but I fell behind a few weeks ago. I’m hoping I can catch up in group two. I love what Allison has done with this class. She includes so much for only $12. I’m looking forward to a 6x6 one page sketch class.

I love Allison's youtube videos. I have yet to watch one all the way to the end because I get inspired by her ideas and start creating. I'm looking forward to the class!

I bought the sketches as soon as she opened group 2. I’ve done three of the sketches so far and am really looking forward to seeing what she posts in the group.

I joined this class and am excited to start. I've never bought SG sketches before!
I notice that she does a lot of stitching with floss on her pages. How does she match up her papers so well? If you do a lot of stitching -- do you buy these floss individually or do you buy a big set of these somewhere?

She wrote a blog post about how she selects her paper. www.allisondavis4sg.com/post/scrapbook-how-to-selecting-and-using-papers-to-match-your-photosI just picked up some floss in colors that I primarily scrap with and for the most part I just make it work.

I don't know much about embroidery floss, but this seems like a good deal that would cover any color you might need.
