Animal Crossing - September 27 (OLD - See October 18th!)

My tip for the day:  If you don't have an ant yet for your museum then drop some candy on the ground and go to bed. Imagine my surprise when I ran by this morning and saw this whole line of ants running between my candy and a hole in the ground. I missed the first time because I swiped at the line of them not at the candy. I left the candy there and did a few more chores and sure enough they came back. That time I did the sneaking thing and swiped one from the candy itself. lol

Whew knew?

And the candy seems to be fine....I thought maybe it would be rotten or something. So if you haven't caught an ant yet that's how you do it. I never even knew that an ant was a possibility. lol

So, I'll probably jinx it, but right now Turnip Prophet says I should have a large spike tomorrow morning. "Large Spike" could be anywhere from 192-576, so I'll post tomorrow if that's the case. I'm CST.

There are a few clothing items including white and fish wings and some DIYs--mostly pretty basic ones, but they'd be good for some of our newbies. I also left yellow and white pumpkins because now that I have some it seemed right to share the wealth in case anyone else needed them. Take what you need. It's all on the path in front of my airport.

Turnip price is 118, but turnip prophet says to expect a large Spike Wednesday afternoon... So if you can't make it to dawnnikol's in the morning, then hopefully I have a good price in the afternoon!

I am going to step into monklady123 's shoes today and ask another question.

Now that I get to terraform and do all the fun stuff, I have been looking at my island. When I was first setting down my villagers' houses, they were put down sort of willy nilly and placed where there weren't trees. Now I know I can move trees so that's a plus. Is it better to have the villagers all together in one area? I would have to move 4 of them to do that. I am also not sure if that would be possible. I, for whatever reason, chose the island with the little island in the center and the river splicing it with 2 forks. I think if I was starting over with my knowledge now, I would choose a different island. But what can you do?

And thank you all for the flowers!! My island is a blooming bit of goodness and color. AND I have discovered some of what I planted early on, is now spreading. Ahhhh, the dreaded spread I have read about. How to tame it, I ask? Designate small gardens here and there? One designated orchard for the trees and one large garden with all the varieties and then the smaller scattered ones. Obviously I need to spend more time on the more set up islands you all have. I need to scour for videos. I have been on YT but how do you decide which ones are best for you.

And I want the Christmas tree that is on the island and I can't remember at the moment whose island it is. But it is very similar to one DD made for her apt a year ago.

I have said it before but I'll say it again, I am so happy and thankful to have this group with your knowledge and willingness to take on us newbies.

So turnip prices are in the 70s. AS has the ruffled dress, high top sneakers, pacifies, work out tops. Hot item is wooden block wall clock. I am open if you want to run over and grab your candy. I will be digging into paperwork so I will be AFK. But I might see you run by as the Switch is on my tower under my desk. I love to see what you all are wearing!

So I am topping the one question and I have another. I was just given a gift from one of my villages. So I thought I would wrap some imp wings and give them to her(?). But I can't get my chat to come up with "hey you want this". Is there a way to force it?

Shoot, I just remembered my other question and then I HAVE to get to work.

The pumpkins. I have all the colors. BUT all the DIYs call for orange pumpkins. Then you can customize with a color. What is the point of having all the pumpkins if you don't get called on to use them. OR does having them, allow the customization factor to pull that color. Sometimes I put way too much thought into a game.

100% chance of large spike for turnips tomorrow AM. I'll post what the price is when I know, hopefully good so I can let Peas sell here since it's THE ONLY TIME we've had a large spike since playing with the Peas!

Do you have all the floor light colors by chance? I can only get pink from my Island and while I love me some pink (duh!) I would like all the colors!  No biggie if not, just an idea!
