My turnips from Snot bag are 91 this AM, if anyone wants to buy, let me know and I'll open in a little bit.

I finding touched then with button A I think and they opened. That worked! Thank you so much! I had the same problem with my new profile! I don't remember it being like that the first time around. I managed to pick mine up by accident... I'd tried the "Y" button to pick them up like normal, then I tried pushing them with "A" and that's when I finally picked them up. lol. (I didn't see your question until just now which is why I didn't reply when you first asked it. )

Here's my morning question for today.... What controllers do you use for your Switch if you do not have the "Lite" version (which I think does not have removable controllers...?) -- I play on a computer monitor that I have set up near my chair. I have the Switch on the dock and I've detached the little side controllers and I use those. At night I have to take off the little things that cover the edges of the controllers (no idea what they're really called) and reattach the controllers to the Switch, then put the Switch back in the dock so the controllers can recharge. But I *just* saw a photo of someone's setup and they keep the Switch with attached controllers in the dock all the time and use a larger controller. That way the Switch is always charged and ready to go if they want to take it somewhere (which I know is the whole point of this system). So I'm thinking that I want another large controller. Then I could take the game to bed at night if I wanted to without worrying about charging up the little controllers. So what do I buy? I'll google of course since I know ZERO about game controllers, lol. But if you're using a larger one that you like which one is it? ETA: Okay, so I've googled.... there are SO MANY OPTIONS! omg I'll definitely need your recommendations because most of the mid-priced ones on Amazon have good reviews and bad reviews. I don't want some fancy high-priced one that does all sorts of things, I just want one that mimics the regular little Switch controllers and that gets my gal around my island.

So what do I buy? I'll google of course since I know ZERO about game controllers, lol. But if you're using a larger one that you like which one is it? Okay, so when we bought our Switch (big, not Lite), it came with a controller grip similar to this: Controller We leave the Switch docked and just use the JoyCons. However, we needed another controller, so we purchased a wired controller, but it did not come with the rumble feature. I like the rumble (vibrations) feature, so it became an extra for when we play a different game like Mario Kart. Then we were playing so much AC between the 5 of us that we decided to get an extra set of JoyCons, because the controllers do run out of battery. DH was at Walmart and grabbed another grip for the controllers for about $20, just because trying to play with those tiny things was a super pain for us. You can get wired controllers with the rumble: RUMBLE but I do not personally have one. We have this grip: JoyConI'd say you just need to decide whether you want rumble or not AND do you want a wire or not.

The "joy cons" are the little detachable things, yes? So the "grip" you linked in your next to last sentence...is that something that just holds the joycons? So that I'd still have to detach them? You said you got "an extra set of JoyCons because the controllers do run out of battery".... so are you talking about two different things there? the "joycons" and the "controllers"? Also, I have no idea if I want "rumble" and/or wired or wireless. If I had a wired one where does it attach? I'd probably prefer wireless because it would be one less cord to get tangled with other cords. So confused.

So I must have missed the gnomes when dawnnikol had that catalog event. I only have the sprightly one. Would really love to catalog them from someone. And shoot about the gates being DIY. And Canberra never gave me the bench DIY. Of course, I never visited her too often while she was here. She seemed too put off if I interacted with her too much. My turnips today are 98. I have too much work to do on the island and dawnnikol has them for less so I'm not opening up. monklady123. I use the joycons on the TV. There's a grip thing that I use with the joycons. My kids have their own wireless controllers. Each of them are different. I can't stand using theirs and they don't like the joycon.

I'd probably prefer wireless because it would be one less cord to get tangled with other cords. So confused. LOL! Sorry! Okay, the JoyCons are the tiny controllers that attach to your Switch. Mine are Red & Blue. I attach them to the controller grip to form a bigger controller. The JoyCons are the little parts that control everything, the grip is just the way to mount them. So, the JoyCons DO run out of battery power, even on a grip that says it charges. At least in my experience. Yes, you'd still have to detach them with a grip. You could also run out of battery on your controller and have to reattach them to charge. The Rumble is the vibrations your controller makes when you bang a rock or smack a tree or (my biggest use) is for fishing. If you have no idea what that vibration is, then you don't care and the controller options are even more open for you. Wired controller attach TO your Switch, there's a plug on the side of it. The wires come in different lengths (ie: 9ft), but you are limited by that. The wireless controllers usually take batteries of their own (like AA). You have much more movement without the wire, obviously. So, I assume you'd prefer a wireless controller, I'm just not sure if you care about the vibrations. ^.^

That damn iron bench!!! I need it, too! It says in the official guide book thingy, that you can get the bench recipe from the Big Sister villager. So I guess I’m stalking Muffy. 😂 I have no idea if I have a "sisterly" villager...guess I'd better check. lol. But, I'm more interested in that ding dang log chair. Google says the DIY for it can be found in balloons, in message bottles, or from crafting villagers. Wow really?? How many bazillion balloons have I popped? and message bottles opened? And I've never gotten it?

peajays... darn in-game chat thing is so difficult even with the app.... lol. I was able to get the DIY for myself when I came back the second time after "someone left quietly". The third time I was back was to try to get an extra for someone else, but by then Bettina was no longer crafting. That's why I didn't take the extra you had laying on the ground. Keep that one for one of the other people who needed it.

monklady123 I have the Lite, which is a month old, but I'm jonesing for the AC limited Switch. Anyway, last weekend when I went up to see ODS, the gamer, he was checking out my Lite. He has the big Switch, dock, extra Joycons, wired controller and wireless with extra "controller". He has the controller dock for the Joycons. They are useless without the Joycons. I think it helps to keep them charged and it feels better in his hands. He also said my lack of fishing skills is due to not being able to feel the vibrations. He throws the switch in the dock and slips the Joycons into the wireless controller dock and uses that.

Although...I disagree with your son about your "lack" of fishing skills being related to the vibrations. I just tested it by catching a fish and I don't notice any difference in the vibrations between when the fish is nibbling and when the fish finally grabs the bait. Maybe the real gamers would notice a difference...? For me the best way is to watch the bobber thingy and as soon as it goes underwater then I press "A".

They're a DIY. Have you done the rattan furniture yet? Might have been before my time. I did one set of rattan, I believe, but it's like you're a mind reader. I wrote down all 10 sets of rattan for the next one. Hah!! Garden gnomes, please. I did those at the one before this? Or maybe the one before that. I'll just mail you the ones you need. Give me a list and I'll send you 2 / day. Mounted or the free standing? Or both? dawnnikol Adding to the wishlist ... Bathroom Towel Rack. My Island only gives me one color variation and I know there are others! Easy peasy! Although, if you want them in advance, I can totally mail you some! What color do you have? Freestanding for sure, but others may want the hanging ones
