I have Pancetti up in boxes. She's a super cute piggy who has the prettiest white and yellow kitchen in her house. I love her and darn it I let my camper Gala kick her off Dallywood. I didn't think fast enough, of course I could have two pigs! Sheehsh. Mad because I never got her photo. I'm going to try to get her poster today hoping that works, not sure since she's in boxes.
I also sent the green pool to you @skellington, I think it was you who asked me for it?
Also, I have 5 books I can bring to someone's island if they can make me a stack of books please? I wish I had that DIY, such a pain I keep getting repeats of silly ones like fruit rugs etc.
OH>>>speaking of rugs, you guys need to go to the Nintendo Shopping area, there is a free downloadable silk green Nooks rug promo right now. You can't get it anywhere else. It's a pretty dark jade green, medium sized rug.
I'm off work today so I'll be playing and checking to see if anyone can help me with the book stack. I'll post my turnip prices if I have anything decent going. I really am hoping to sell that crap ton I bought today as they are all in my orchard that I cleared for PUMPKINS HELLLLOOOOO.

Ohhhhhh, good to know!! I am still at a stinking 1 star rating and just trying to figure out what else I need to do. I figure navigation of the island is pretty key to getting that higher. I have planted around all my residence houses. I know that is probably making double work for me if/when I decide to move them. You have to "junk" up your island to increase the stars. Get the upgraded nooks and resident services. Throw down some fencing and stuff. Make little temp areas with the stuff you buy or pick up from others. Don't kill off all your flowers and trees just yet. You can always come back and rearrange or delete, but if you are trying to get the three stars for KK then just start putting stuff out. Bridges and inclines will help as well. I don't understand the hate for Pietro. I want one Happy Birthday @monklady

Naby, just a thought. You know a lot of us have been playing a long time and our 'thing' we are doing now is trying to get Villager photos because we've done everything else. IMO, unless you REALLY want Villager photos right away don't sweat it. The game won't penalize you in any way if you don't constantly gift your Villagers. Unless you already have all the bridges and inclines you need to naviate around your island I'd focus on earning bells to get that done more. The Villagers won't leave without asking you first, and if you have a special fave you know you don't want to leave then go ahead and give them a gift of clothing or something like that. Extra fossils that Blathers doesn't take sell for lots of bells. I'd sell the fossils and build up my town before I started trying to get the pictures. That's a lot of work on its own. Ohhhhhh, good to know!! I am still at a stinking 1 star rating and just trying to figure out what else I need to do. I figure navigation of the island is pretty key to getting that higher. I have planted around all my residence houses. I know that is probably making double work for me if/when I decide to move them. Okay sorry but I keep giving my unsolicited opinions here and honestly, don't worry about your island rating at all. Just play, build your island, decorate it and have fun. Things will come along as you fish/sell/buy catch bugs etc. You'll rack up points and the one day KK Slider will come and you'll get terraforming. You can talk to Nook every day and he'll tell you what you need to do, and also check your little phone where it shows the 'running bear' Nook Miles+ daily tasks up at the top. Chop the tree, do the little chores it tells you and that will keep you at a good pace in the game. The beauty of this game you can do anything you like, there are no rules. We all play differently I'm sure so I'm just sharing my way as another option for you.

So...I woke up to check this thread and discovered that several people have missing Pietros.... Have we heard from any of these Peas yet this morning? Are they okay? Although really, anyone who willingly *invites* him to their island is just asking for trouble. Okay so he let me in today, and I gave him medicine and he's all better! Well, he's all sweet and cheerful like always and I'm a bit sad this didn't turn into something else, lol. It was fun having that mystery while it lasted, so I think the issue was my gates were open. I thought since I was knocking when there were no visitors it would work, but it's defnintely the gates being opened. I crack up at his antics and how you guys are all scared of him, he's the most fun of any Villager IMO because of it. I'm keeping him forever Well, you know I love him!!! He is always who I look for first on your island. I think he is a delight, and I am glad he is ok!

Ok, a whine here. My dadgum fruit trees and bamboo shoots will not grow. I made the rookie mistake of planting them in a trio of like groupings. When nothing happened, I googled. Ohhhh, they don't need to be near each other or other fruits. So I earned my steps that day, digging up and replanting. I guess this was over the weekend maybe. This morning I checked and they still do not seem to have grown. Shouldn't I see something within 3 days or so? Note to self, shoo Pietro away. Do not invite him. Do not say his name 3 times. I have a new residence today and it is Camofrog. Geesh, another workout buff. I have grabbed another plot to place. AND I have discovered that inclines should be the first thing you place, once you place the perfect bridge. Where are you all getting the Stalk Market info? I bought in the low 90s and this am I am at 131. I know at some point last week, I sold, on another island, for 4something. I made the rookie mistake and chose 143 first last week. I then realized it would go higher and held on to a few. Man, if I had just waited. But that is the game of roulette you play right? I have so many rando fossil pieces. I have saved a couple for gifts to the manly residents. But what else can I do with those? They are out of control next to the museum. I just drop them there after being assessed a dupe. Can those be sold? Do I need someone to come over and give me tree planting advice? Yes, sell all the extra fossils to the Nooks! I did that in the earlier stages when I needed money more than the villager photos. The fossils are worth $10-15k daily depending on what they are. Once you have your museum slots filled, sell the duplicates to earn bells to pay for your house expansions. It was only when my house was fully upgraded, at that point I started giving away the extra fossils (gift wrapped, of course) to some of the residents to try to get their photos. ETA: naby64 I have the Familiar Statue to give you at some point! I can bring it to you or you can come to Snowieness at some point, I don’t think I can mail anything to you until you and DD’s character have played the game together. (The Nintendo account is on her character’s profile.)

Yes please pass it on for me! And let's see if Naby has it and if not then yes please I need a stack of books

Ahhhh, you say they don't display them monklady123 . I went in to one of the houses one day and there was that dang skull in the corner of his house! I have been wrapping what I give to everyone. I finally got that at the end of the first week or so. I was just handing out something. Then I realized you all wrapped the stuff. So off to Nook's I went and grabbed paper. So are you saying I can just place these wrapped gifts outside their door at night and they will "pick" them up at some point. Know the presents are for them? I guess I really need to do some pruning of my trees. I don't have enough space to space these out. Gosh, I just need a little notebook to keep handy. One for my real home to do list and one for my island to do list. No, they won't pick them up, you have to give them to them. I just do it that way so I know who's received theirs and who hasn't. If it's still there later in the day that just means I haven't had a chance to talk to them yet. And, I wonder if the skull you saw in the corner was one of the free-standing items... I forget what they're called....it's like the amber, or the footprints... Those they can display. But if you give them a part of a skeleton they won't. Lol at the island to-do list. Yep. I have what I call my Morning Chores: -- find DIY bottle on the beach -- find who is the visitor of the day and do their task if it's someone like Gulliver or Label -- start handing out gifts to those who are awake -- dig up fossils -- find glowing money hole -- check on the five Nooks Miles tasks (the ones that give us bonus miles) -- shake all trees (sometimes I don't get to this till later) And I'm adding a new one to the list: check on all flower gardens! I'm determined not to let them get out of control like they were. So the second I see a new one popping up I'm digging it out.

You need to be 3-star in order to have KK come to give a concert, and that's when you'll unlock terraforming. So yeah, I'd focus on that goal first. It's really not too difficult to get a 3-star rating (I did it without too much trouble so that's how you know it's not difficult ). -- pick all weeds -- put up some fences -- I had one only around my house -- set up a couple of simple areas....I did a little tea shop and a sort of zen sitting place....nothing fancy, I basically just put down the furniture (if you "place" it then Isabelle looks at it as set up, but if you "drop" it then it's litter.) -- pick up all stuff laying on the ground - DIYs, stuff you're giving away, tools that aren't "placed" -- you don't need all 10 villagers...I think I had maybe 6 or 7? I think that's basically it.

Just to clarify, you don’t have to actually *break* the rocks, that will make them go away and spawn somewhere else. You just need to hit them with a shovel to make the stuff come out. Once our rocks were in good spots, we “landscaped” around some of them with trees and bushes so we wouldn’t have to dig so many holes every day.

Building bridges definitely helps. I unlocked KK the other day. I had to build 5 to even get around my island reasonably (and so my villagers weren’t trapped in Siberia sections), thanks to a ridiculously placed river, and cliffs. So my house got the short end of that stick, cause all my bells went to those. Now I’m finally getting to work on that. And my villagers are complete grifters and didn’t help much at all. 😂😂😂

Well, you know I love him!!! He is always who I look for first on your island. I think he is a delight, and I am glad he is ok! oh shoot. Maybe it was peajays then? It was one of you who visited me last night. I wish the chats would stay up longer than three pages! When I tried scrolling back up at the end of the night that part of the chat was gone, poop. We were a chatty bunch yesterday lol. Yes please pass it on for me! And let's see if Naby has it and if not then yes please I need a stack of books Yes! It was me who requested it! I just got a green frog resident, and I want it to match her and Ive set the "pond" in her yard, along with 2 cages of crickets....LOL

My gates are open if anyone is out and about shopping. Take the DIYs or they're being trashed, so feel free to snag to sell or for an extra character or just to look at! Buy whatever you want. No need to water, I'm AFK. CJ is here, so don't search around for a useful visitor today on Party Isla...

So I can move those rocks? Put them all in one place? Oh man, if that could happen... Yes, you can! I did it, though it did involve time travel (aka "TT") in order to get my last one to spawn in the right spot.

So I can move those rocks? Put them all in one place? Oh man, if that could happen... I would recommend not going to this effort until you are 3 stars and terraform...That terraforming will allow you to change cliffs, water -- basically rework your whole format...The rock garden is one thing I still need to tackle...

Is anyone looking for the fake Academic Painting (Vitruvian Man) or the fake Solemn Painting (Las Meninas)? ScamLikely's Redd is offering it today.
I decided to craft some things today with flowers today before I trash them. If I can get my Switch time!

So I can move those rocks? Put them all in one place? Oh man, if that could happen... Oh yes. But, it's a pain in the butt to do so don't even attempt it until you've got your 3-star rating. Then if you want to make a rock garden here are the basic steps: 1. decide where you want the rock garden. Google for the basic layout. Many people do a rectangle of 3x2, others do a circle. But wherever you decide you want the actual rocks make paths around each one. 2. Then go and cover every single spot on your island with something. Yes, every single spot. lol. The easiest way is to use mannequins through the design app on your AC phone because then when you're all done you can pick them up with one click. Some people prefer weeds but I had no desire to run around and pick up every weed. The weeds are easier to see whether or not you've covered all spots, but like I said...mannequins are easier to pick up. 3. Go break your rocks. Don't forget to put a mannequin or weed or something in the spot where the rock was. 4. The next day run to your rock garden and see if one has spawned in the free spots there. I was lucky and on day 1 and had a rock! Run around your island to see if any other has spawned. I *think* only one will spawn per day but I'm not 100% sure of that. 5. The next day run to your rock garden. Murphy's Law says that there will not be a rock on that day. Run all over your island to find it, even though you were SURE you covered every spot. You didn't. When you find it, break it and put a mannequin in that spot. 6. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. etc. Most people who do this use time travel to get it done because who wants to have their island in such an uproar for a couple of weeks? Yes, there are only six rocks but unless you're really lucky it will take longer than six days. In the end it's worth it, in my opinion. Now I have a nice zen rock garden, and I can easily hit them all without a lot of running around.

So I can move those rocks? Put them all in one place? Oh man, if that could happen... Like someone else said, I would definitely not try and do this until later. It takes a lot of work and you pretty much have to put everything on hold to do it. I tried, and failed, but I hadn't really started developing my Island much at all. I finally gave up and decided to try and develop my Island as much as possible, then do the rock garden. Much easier I think. There's a video on how to do it: How to create a Rock Garden

Sorry, please consider this my formal “ty, farewell,”
