From April to November we don’t do anything but open windows unless it gets unusually hot - over 90 degrees. During the winter we keep the house at 60 during the day and 55 at night. We have a gas fireplace that we use when we’re relaxing in the evenings.

My house is 68 degrees all year round. Except when the temperature is mild and we have the windows open. This. Although, I tend to crank it down to 65-66 in winter when I can get away with it (DH would prefer 70 in winter).

Summer 73 all the time (DH is retired), winter 63. We get a respite in spring and fall for a couple of weeks.

Summer the AC is set at 75. I’d have it set yo 77 or 78 but my dog can’t seem to tolerate those extra degrees & he is old so I don’t want to stress him. No I do not turn it up in the evening if anything id have the temp higher while I’m at work and lower when I get home but I can’t with the dog. I can’t tolerate 80 too hot
In winter the thermostat is set at 68,It’s programmable and goes to 65 over night 10pm-6am. And this is 3 degrees higher than we were allowed to set it when I was growing up. Lol

Our ac is set on 66 most of the year. On the rare occasions during winter that it gets below 60 in the house I will turn on the heat, set to 60-62 for DH’s sake.
