Are you referring to the plastic storage sheet that comes in the original packaging? When alphas start to lose their grip I usually just wash them in warm soapy water and let them air dry. If that doesn't work maybe a tiny bit of removable adhesive?

Sometimes cleaning them helps, but it depends on the stamp set. Cheaper sets have more issues staying on the backing.

Some of mine I have to store in a little baggie because even after washing they still don't stick.

I have some older ones that have started loosing the ability to stick and I have a pile of them that I left out and now they wont stick either. I just put a bit of the double sided tape that use in my scrapbooking on the back of them and replace when they start to loose the stick. It is not a permanent solution but it works.

If washing them doesn’t work you could use some two-way glue to create a temporary adhesive surface on them (like when you unmount red rubber stamps). It’s basically like rubber cement. You put a little glue on and let it dry, and it stays sticky so the stamps will stick to the backing and your acrylic block.

If washing the stamps doesn't solve the issue, maybe also washing/cleaning the backing sheet would help? They also get dusty and grimy from our fingers so it's just a thought.
