I just received my ballot in the mail yesterday. I plan to get it filled out and back in the mail this week. Don't forget to put a first class stamp on i so it goes first class (faster). Peas..if you are mailing your ballot, make sure you follow ALL the directions so that your vote counts. And a first class stamp so that it gets there faster. Don't rely on the free postage on the envelope.

I'm in Texas but I vote in Colorado. I got an email from the Colorado Secretary of State that my military/overseas ballot was available about ten minutes before the news of RBG dropped. I stayed up late that night and submitted it to the online portal in honor of her. ETA - this year I found a website called Ballotpedia and I can't say enough good things about it. I highly recommend it as an impartial companion to your ballot.

That being said, better safe than sorry and the USPS thanks you and could use the boost/revenue.

We got our absentee ballots last week. We need to open them and look them over.
I'm on the fence about going in person. The polling station has 4 precincts in it. The kid that's eligible to vote says he's going in person.

Great advice when you want to mail it *good*. 😊

In NY we can’t vote til 9 days before, but I will vote in advance at that point. I won’t mail in — too many opportunities for screw ups this year and it’s vital we get it right.

My ballot is sitting on my desk, and I plan to fill it out either today or tomorrow and drop it off at the Clerk's office in my township. Michigan. We have early voting, and can actually spoil our ballots right up until election day. We are also one of the states mentioned last night during the debate that cannot begin vote counting until the day of the election. A recent bill was passed so that Clerks can begin preparing to count ballots early - a whole 10 hours But, better than nothing.

Received my ballot today. I will vote in person with my adult children. It has been our tradition to vote in person as a family since the oldest turned 18. I know after college one will move away for his career so I’d like to keep this tradition as long as I can🤔 During the August primary vote I took a family's annual family picture outside the polling station. They have voted as a family every election since their kids turned 18.
I work the elections so I will have to vote early. A lot can happen in the month before an election so I will go the day or two before they close early voting. I also live in a small town so I know I can I can always run over to my precinct and vote if I wanted to.

We will go election day. We take our DD with us, nothing can replace the feeling of election day. We love going to our little elementary school our daughters attended to cast our vote. We make it a morning, voting & breakfast with the division. All of our girls have grown up being shown the importance of their voice. No matter what side, VOTE! We are in NC. I remember going to the polls with my mom and dad when I was a little girl! (Lived in Michigan) Not sure I ever took my kids to the polls, but I probably did. We used to vote at their school which was about a block away from our home. Several years ago we switched to absentee ballots, but we always take our ballots to the polling place on election day.
So far, my ballot hasn't showed up here. I live in California.
