Yay got the final list! Is anyone going to make a printable label list that they would be willing to share by any chance? I have never been able to make it work when I try!

She said she was going to quit the boards in her most recent email, and yup, it looks like she did.

I believe last year I managed to take the excel file we received and import/upload to avery.com to format to the style of labels I bought, and printed it out at home. I plan to do the same thing this year, if I can figure out how I did it last year! lol. I think it was pretty easy once I removed the international people (I formatted their labels differently or handwrote them). Avery has a guide and all the instructions, I think I started here: www.avery.com/articles/take-the-mystery-out-of-mail-merge

I’ll see if Jessica can mail it out. I just sent Jessica two label files to distribute - Word and PDF format. I standardized a couple addresses (abbreviations for states/provinces) and sorted by country and then last name, but otherwise it was the same info included this evening.

I have the perfect place to display the cards at our new house. At the old one, I hung a cord the length of both sides of the entry hall and hung them on it with little clothespins. No entry hall here, but there's a 12' bank of bookshelves on one wall of the living room that I put curtains over to cover, and I can hang the card clotheslines there.

I just realized I don't have a plan for mine! Last year I hung them on a bulletin board but I just took it down and was about to sell it... Might have to reconsider that... or come up with a new idea... I hadn't even thought about it until I read your post.

I sent about 40 cards this morning, most to the over seas peas. Please excuse some of the envelopes,(which I made) when I realized they looked too square and be returned for mor postage. So I folded down to look more like a A2 size. So excited this swap has started!

I’m really hoping we get to 100 sign up!!! Spent today, (my day off ) making cards. So fun to bust out all my supplies and make something! Now if I can just find something to binge watch/listen to while crafting it would be a perfect day! flatfish I'm not sure I've ever received a card this early before ... but I'm NOT complaining!! Thanks for starting the joy-filled season (ETA: I quoted your wrong post. Right pea though!)

I hope to finish mailing out all my cards this week. My work schedule gets super busy at the office at the end of year and I don’t want to fall behind. Plus really not sure how long the mail service will or even if they will get delivered. I really look forward to this swap every year!

I mailed off all of my international cards today in the hopes that they make it in time for the holidays. My family recently mailed a small package for my birthday which took 5 weeks from NZ to the US. I think letters will be somewhat faster. Let’s hope so, because I don’t have my international cards ready yet!

I have been mailing lots this year and within the US the mail has been very reliable and not even especially slow. Overseas has been slow, but even at the height of the pandemic when everyone was locked down everything still arrived. I think the worst was a piece of mail from Australia/NZ that took 2 or maybe 3 months.

Just a question for my own curiosity... What does "VIOLA" mean at the end of this thread title? Since it's capitalized I'm assuming it's an acronym... just wondering what for?

I think she meant the French "voilà!" Oh lololol... hahahah Sorry, I didn't even think of that. Since it's all caps and not spelled correctly I just assumed it was an acronym for something.
