I know you might not have seen my third post from yesterday because you were busy looking after your DH, but I would like an answer, because I literally do not understand how it would be a safety issue for you or any of the other swappers. I am the only one made vulnerable by release of my personal information. Since this was to have been my first year, I had never even opened up the thread in past years, and had no idea about your requirement. I have already invested considerable expense into this project and my prep time for my materials will also have been wasted.

I would want to do this for MY safety, LOL. I donât understand your rationale. I have a very uncommon first and last name that if googled it with my town, it comes up in the search. Iâm not interested in the possibility of being doxxed personally or my family. @leowife would it be okay if she put her real name on the sign up form but you donât put it on the sheet you share with us? She would get the card if we addressed it to Peano. Maybe that would make her feel safer but still able to participate?

We should all feel safe doing the card swap and she is a long time pea.

Iâve thought about doing the swap, but I cannot participate if you need real names. Iâve done lots of swaps and have never used my real name.

I've had a migraine for the past 2 days so I'm so happy I was able to sign up this evening before the swap got filled up. I've participated for the past 5 years (except for last year when DH lost his job and I had to pull out, but got just as many cards!) so I really want to participate again this year to repay the joy. This year I am really looking forward to the swap!

Just shy of 80 Peas so far...
Ladies tip, start putting away a couple of bucks each week for stamps. This way it does not hit all at once.
Thank y'all who have signed up.

I already bought a bunch of (non holiday specific) postage! USPS keeps tempting me with cool stamp designs in their catalog every month (shop online if you want all the choices - most post offices get a very limited supply of the good stamps). I also got a good supply of global poinsettia stamps a few months ago so I can get internationals out as early as possible.

My four year old is mildly obsessed with our mailman so he's going to help me send as many cards as possible. â€

I hope we get to 100 peas to sign up! I already made my envelopes âïž and my cards (4 different designs) are kitted. I plan to make a few every night until I get them all done. I decided to make different ones so I wouldnât get bored or run out of supplies. So excited!!!

Mine are going to be a mix of handmade and boxed. Every year when cards go on clearance I scour the shelves for really interesting ones. I like to make cards too, but need to use some of my box card Stash.

I signed up for the first time last year. My oldest asked me if I really sent my address to a couple hundred anonymous people on a message board. I said yes I did since were mostly older card making ladies. I loved sending and receiving so many cards. So many smiles were delivered to my front door. When I checked my mail and there was a pea card, it made me smile. It was so much fun. I am definitely signing up again and I hope to send to everyone on the list.
