What line of embellishments? I do like a good search. I was lucky to find some great Thickers in August, but haven't seen new ones for 6 weeks or so.

I don’t really **need** anything specific to a line. I tend to look for ones that work with multiple lines so I get more bang for my buck. Every once and a while I will watch a YouTube haul and there will be something that I hope to find. The other thing I hope to see more of is punches. I picked up several when they were popping up and I’ve really been reaching for them. Especially having taken the Allison Davis class, they’ve come in handy. |

Made a quick trip. Not a lot to get excited about for me. They had lots of the Echo Park 6x6 pads, many lines, but they were the 48 sheets for $5.99.
Next was the Authenique. It was just the paper. That’s it, no more than 10-12 sheets and they were $11.99. At first I thought maybe they had not been packaged correctly and were missing things, but nope, they were all that way. Those are going to be sitting for a long time.
I did see some Studio Calico refills. Both the 9x12 and the 7x7.
Nothing I needed. Lots of Xmas decor going out.

About 2 years ago they had a huge influx of Fiskars punches. Now and then I see a few thick material punches, but not too many. |

I’m working on theme albums right now, so Halloween, Disney and school themes stuff is on my radar. The limited hours make it really hard for me to get there, though.

Mine has all three of those themes in Echo Park packs right now. I went today and they were still emptying the truck. They had a lot of King something or other pencils and markers, some new paint, lots of little die/stamp sets and a few embossing folders with dies. I bought nothing. |

I went to a Tuesday Morning yesterday that was about 5 minute’s from DH’s pre-op appointment. Browsing at TM beat sitting in a hot car for an hour. Besides, I was curious to take a peek. There were more things on the shelf than I had seen the last time I visited a TM, although the craft shelves were still not as full as they used to be.
One thing that was tempting was a foil pen for electronic cutting machines. However, I really couldn’t justify the $20 price, which seemed rather high to me. They seem to have raised prices on everything. I had read here about the Authentique paper packs being $12, but that is so overpriced. Prices were higher on everything. They had very few stamps or dies, and I saw very little in the craft section that was even tempting to me.
I used to buy a lot of the 6x6 pads of paper for $2.99, but doubling the size and the price is just forcing the customer to buy the equivalent of 2 packs. That bugged me. I might be fine with that if I loved the papers, but I wasn’t interested in buying any of the 6x6 pads that they had in stock.
I had hoped to find a seasoning that DH loves, which they used to sell, but they had no seasonings at all. Their food section was minimal compared to what it used to be.
I hope they pull out of bankruptcy, but higher prices and lower inventory will discourage at least some people.

Popped in to our second TM today and they still had most of it in carts.
The Authentique pricing is a no go for me as I said previously. They did it with Graphic 45 a few years ago and that stuff sat until it went to clearance. I imagine most of the Authentique will too. Some of the Carta Bella Packs were rather pricey too, but the Echo Park packs were a buck higher and still 12 sheets and a sticker sheet included. The packs that also carried the ephemera from EP were $8.99 and that was a good deal since the ephemera packs cost more in the store individually.
My store isn't doubling the size of the 6 x 6 pad yet. At least I haven't found any.
They did have three giant pallets of chocolate come in. They were all up to my neck high, so our shelves will be filled with chocolate soon.

I went to a different TM today. It had some different paper packs than the other one I’d gone to this week.. The Authentique packs were definitely not the same, and they were priced $9.99, but still more than I would pay. They did not have the foil pens for electronic cutters that I saw at the other one. They did have a foil pen, but it wasn’t the same.....almost, but not quite, and it was almost as expensive as the other one. Again, not tempting at that price. They had a very few thinner 6x6 pads left at the $2.99 price.
I was mostly surprised to see just how different the stock was from the two stores, and perhaps someone figured out that $12.99 was overpriced.
The other thing that I noticed was a discounted paper pad wasn’t in the clearance section, but with the regular crafts. I’m not sure if that was intentional or an oversight. I didn’t look to see if any crafts were over in the clearance section, but maybe they figured they might sell more by keeping the clearance crafts with the crafts.

I went to one today...I found some things that seemed reasonable and a few I left behind. A lot of 1020 tags mixed with earlier dates. I got Sizzix framelits dotted squares, Hampton art layered roses stamps, Bazzill green cards/envelopes (these had a 0320 tag), Mama Elephant Monster die and stamp sets (like those that were at JoAnns), Sizzix thinlits Christmas phrases #2, and a Heidi Swapp mint time flies memory planner.
There was one die set that I kind of wanted, but I thought it was expensive and I can't even remember what it was at the moment! Ha!

I went to the Echo Park warehouse site and found the same TM packs (and many more 12 paper packs with sticker sheet included). After the discounts, I got each pack for $5 and free shipping.

I saw a lot of the same as mentioned here but also found paint pens from Jane Davenport and Tim Holtz distress crayons. I bought both. I haven’t used the distress crayons yet but I really like the paint pens.
I plan to go by there before work today so will let you know if I see anything else new.

I went to TM for the first time in awhile and my store is almost empty. It’s not one of the stores that is closing but it’s not getting trucks regularly yet.
I picked up the Bella Blvd. soccer and basketball kits, the Photo Play To the Moon and Back collection pack, and the Sticky Thumb jumbo tape runner. My store has hardly any embellishments right now and only two packs of Thickers.
Hopefully my stores will start getting shipments in regularly again soon.

On last week's trip, I did pick up two Photo Play Christmas collections - first time I saw those on the shelf. no new PL kits though - I'm looking for HS Favorite Things and the Daring core kits - haven't seen them yet I have seen what folks here are talking about though - limited embellishments and the new ones I've seen are bundled (very few) (fingers crossed for this week's trip  ) |

I just found one thing this week. Lots of new stuff though. New items to Tuesday Morning and some things that haven't been around for a year or two, so that was good. A few new paper pads and some red/pink papers from AC. I did find a square set of PL cards (the large box) for $5.99. It was the 52 weeks-Daring collection. Love the colors.

I went after waiting a couple weeks and left with nothing. I saw a couple Jillibean Shaker cards and a We R Memory Keepers 8x8 Free Spirit kit. But papers were the same. And no embellishments.

Only found 1 Echo Park school 6x6 pad. Picked up a couple more PL core kits - some pretty HS 2014 designs. Had the time actually browse stamps and embellishments but only came away with a Happy Planner stamp set. Was hoping for thrn9-12 albums and inserts and more themed paper, but my store doesn’t seem to be getting those. Still lots of older dated items. |

I would have gone crazy by now if I hadn't been out much. Our numbers have been pretty reasonable (not that any are good), and all of our stores require masks. No one bucks the system that I have seen for months. |
