Finally!! After the season starts I will turn this thread into a season long thread for discussion after episodes air.
ETA: It started tonight so here is the season long thread. Remember, only spoilers after the show airs. No outside spoilers!! We're not watching until we can watch with DS next week since it's a family thing!

It is estimated that The Amazing Race 32 filmed between November 10 and December 3, 2018. You read that right! Season 32 has been sitting on a shelf at CBS for almost two years!

I haven’t watched TAR in years. I was such a big fan, especially in those early years when team members weren’t always the nicest of people. Lol! Maybe I’ll start watching again. I still remember Team Cha Cha Cha and the one season were “my ox is broken!” Yeah, good times.

Yay! I just looked up online today when TAR was going to start - I knew it had to be soon. An interview with Phil earlier this summer mentioned that this season was indeed filmed two years ago. They were shooting a new season this February (Season 33) and 3 episodes in had to stop due to Covid. They still don't know when they'll be able to resume filming. I'm going to savor this season of TAR since it'll probably be a while before we get another one!

I don't quite get that when everyone was wanting new content to watch during Covid-19 SIP. This was originally going to air after the finale of the spring season of Survivor. Then CBS changed it to this Fall, because they knew there wouldn’t be other new programming to air.

I'm so happy this is finally going to be back on. Yippee! I read about it last week and went through the participant's bio's which I now can't remember at all. I'll be watching along with all of you and savoring every episode.

I haven’t watched in a few years. With so many shows not on this fall, might have to tune-in.

I remember her being on, but not specifics. I want to watch again to see her now that I know her.

No one stands out to much for me yet either. But I am liking all new people. The football guys seem to have fun. The nerdy ones (as they call themselves) I think will get on my nerves because they can't stop talking about how nerdy they are. To much nerd talk. lol Otherwise... I need another couple of episodes...

Chee & Hung are doing a great job so far! No bickering and are working together as a team. Kellie & Lavonne were eliminated from the 2nd pit stop. Nathan & Cody were eliminated from the first pit stop.

Nathan & Cody were eliminated from the first pit stop. You don't have to put who was eliminated in the *spoiler* mode. Once the episode has aired, feel free to write anything you want about the episode including who was eliminated. No one has jumped out as my favorite or my least-favorite so far. I do think the football players are funny. During the circus challenge, just looking at them spinning around made me

It is funny how different the production is, but Team Guido are still a pair of asses. I am really enjoying it!

I felt sorry for the Olympic women this past episode and the one before. It seemed to me that luck just wasn't on their side. In the first episode 2 challenges included numbers or areas where dyslexia was a problem and they were both dyslexic (the fish one and the drumming one). Had at least one of those challenges been purely athletic it would have been better for them.
In the second episode they had really bad luck with their taxi driver and nothing but luck factors in there. I guess you can mitigate the damages when you find out your taxi driver doesn't know where he is going by asking him to call for instructions or another taxi, but this guy's phone was dying and he didn't have a power cord-he said he'd lent it out to another taxi driver. Ugh! I guess in this case your best bet is to just ask him to stop and get out of the cab if you are in a place to find another cab. I think they did the best they could.
In the dressing up the truck's challenge it was amazing to me after 32 seasons how many racers didn't read the clue to get the part about hooking up the horn. I get it-your adrenaline is going, you're racing etc. but there are basic rules to win this race. Read the clue. Know how to drive stick shift. Know how to swim. Ya know? Of course I'm not saying I could do any better myself. I think they did the best they all could.
So far I like Chee and Hung (they are doing extremely well and don't bicker), the pro volley ball player brothers with beards who are from Hawaii (they're always in a great mood, seem to be enjoying the race. I'm sure there's more but so far I can't think of any yet because I don't know the teams well enough.

Yeah... one of my pet peeves, sorry... lol... if the title says "SPOILERS" then there's no need to worry about what you type. If someone hasn't seen the episode and does *not* want spoilers, yet they open this thread...well that's on them if they see something they would rather have not seen. Just don't open the thread until you're ready to read it all and discuss it.

The title says "SPOILERS" so anyone can say whatever they want about the show, no worries about spoiling it for anyone else.

Why does it matter if someone chooses to use the spoiler tags? It doesn't hurt anyone. 🤔

There are alliances formed and teams are "helping" each other. So very different than shows in the mid-past.
Anyway, reading comprehension is always a good thing!
Amazing at how some simple things will turn the race around. The Married Parents are at #2 and the Dating Couple came in 1st!
Too bad that the Father & Son were sent home.
They are staying in South America for some time to come.

I quit watching AR because they kept putting people from other reality shows, like Rachel, ugh! I am really liking this season as it is all new people.

We were sad to see the father and son team get eliminated. Double U-Turns are brutal. But big lesson learned, read your clues!
