Hey everyone! Tomorrow, I will be hosting "Dress Up with Me Monday." This will be our 8th time and what a mood boosting experience this has been. Wear your joyful clothes whether you are at home or going out. THIS IS FOR YOU!  How does this dress up thing work???
Pick at least one or more of your favorite things to wear- clothing, accessories and/or shoes. Also it could be wearing your fav make-up or styling your hair. Wear it Monday 10/12/20Leave a comment here and tell us what you wore and how you felt. Share pictures if you like of your outfit or you and your fav thing. Join me tomorrow and have fun wearing your joy for the full day or even an hour! Whatever works for you. |

This is a great idea! My daughter has been getting dressed up when she runs errands. I work tomorrow so it will be scrubs and a mask for my 12 hour shift.

Last Monday, I wore a pink dress and pink feather earrings.  Dress Up With Me Monday by Kelly Roberts, on Flickr I think I will wear pink again tomorrow. I think pink is superpower color! LOL! |

This is a great idea! My daughter has been getting dressed up when she runs errands. I work tomorrow so it will be scrubs and a mask for my 12 hour shift. Your daughter has got the spirit! Maybe you can join us another day and time. One medical worker wore her favorite stud earrings. So maybe there is some small something you can do to join our dress up party. Today, I am wearing one of my favorite necklaces I haven't worn in ages. I picked this top and pants to match. This outfit feels so good and really makes me smile. Plus, I am sucker for pink! You're right, your super-colour is pink!
Still working, still in uniform, but I think I'll put on a necklace today. Maybe my autumn leaf one, as the trees are starting to turn. It won't show under my shirt, but I'll know it's there.

I wore my good jeans, a long sleeve white tee, and my favorite olive green quilted vest to the grocery store this morning. It was 6:30 am, so I am sure the guys stocking the shelves were impressed, not!
Tomorrow I'll need a cute outfit, too, because our friend and pastor is coming by to social distance on our patio. I suspect that will be the last time we use our patio for the season, since we are in MN.

kellyr21 , you do look amazing in pink and I love the style of that top! My weekly disclaimer - I work in a huge warehouse office with six other people. Jeans and hoodies are the “uniform” here. So, while my outfit isn’t actually dressed up, I look like I’m attending a gala compared to what we can get by with here. I got my first StitchFix box last week (thanks, LiLi!). I love the jeans they sent me and could sleep in them they’re so comfortable. I despise shopping for jeans and was super skeptical. My last few pair of jeans were purchased at Plato’s closet while shopping with my daughter which is NOT where 54 year old women should be looking for jeans. I may have just gotten lucky but these fit perfectly and feel amazing. I have sensory issues with my clothing and I can’t say enough how much I love these. They look darker standing in my closet than they actually are. They’re blue. The top is nothing special but again, the fabric is fabulous and it feels great on. It is so soft and hangs well. I don’t think I would have picked it up off the rack in a store, but I love it! I grabbed a pair of booties (not my Adidas sneakers) and put on a bracelet and a pair of earrings. I haven’t worn any jewelry in forever (my rings don’t fit anymore). I’ve had three compliments so far this morning and feel really great, but still super comfortable. I’m loving my Monday!

They also make suggestions to for you based on your style - a lot of times I just buy straight from this feature instead of the boxes. Gosh it’s dangerous! |

Since it’s Thanksgiving week-end in Canada, I have today off ... we’ve cleaned up the backyard and garages and basement in preparation for snow (it feels almost cold enough today! BOO to that!!). So while I’m wearing boring black leggings and a T-shirt, I decided to wear a super awesome long cardigan I bought this summer over top. I have to run to the store for a second, so I’m going to throw a pretty scarf on, too. “Cleaning chic” for me today 😄

Since it’s Thanksgiving week-end in Canada, I have today off ... we’ve cleaned up the backyard and garages and basement in preparation for snow (it feels almost cold enough today! BOO to that!!). So while I’m wearing boring black leggings and a T-shirt, I decided to wear a super awesome long cardigan I bought this summer over top. I have to run to the store for a second, so I’m going to throw a pretty scarf on, too. “Cleaning chic” for me today 😄 Love that, "Cleaning Chic!" That is so fun! I just love how you ladies are pairing practical clothes with a littles something extra. I hope that cardigan and scarf lifted your spirits today. Thanks for playing! |
