Ohio must really be having the issues! Received a card today from freeatlast (postmark 12/11) and from papercrafteradvocate (postmark 12/26). But Iโm actually glad your POs are behind! Itโs a really nice extension of the holidays. Both cards are amazing! Thanks so much! |

Hi girls! One last note from me about our card exchange. I feel like it was a success, and it sounds like many of you do too! I feel like I got to know many of you better as a result โค๏ธ gemini_jen and I have talked and are willing to host the exchange again next year if there is interest. Iโll post the exchange and itโs updates, and Jen will completely take over the compiling and sharing the list of participants. This should minimize any little hiccups with distribution like we had this year. I personally preferred the smaller size of the card exchange, and if you all are in agreement weโll cap it at 50-60 participants next year. Again, these decisions arenโt mine to make, so please share your thoughts about any changes you think would be helpful for next yearโs card exchange. Thanks and Happy New Year! Cap is a good idea. If need be, make two small groups depending on all who sign up. |

I'll bump the birthday card thread tomorrow, but as of now, there's not enough interest to go forward with it. So if a few more do sign up, I don't think we would need to worry about having too many people. Is there still a Birthday Card thread? Just wondering because the not enough interest could have been due to the fact not as many peas being around due to holidays. I didn't go anywhere but we as a family we did things at home to entertain ourselves and I wasn't here as much. |

All the rest were from Canada or overseas. cycworker, yours arrived. basket1lady, yours too (and I LOLโd ... I have that 2peas die, too ... I might copy your Christmas card next year if you donโt object). Those are the ones I remember people asking about. I think the others were from Canada but I donโt have them in front of me ATM. I know you don't. I am just a believer that we're meant to learn from crappy things that happened. Your outgoing President has reminded me to not take for granted respecting diversity, honouring people's traditions/heritage/beliefs . |

I want to apologize to you all for not getting my cards out. Some things happened that took my time and energy and unfortunately a small issues around 1 of the things became a bogger issue again on Tuesday. We love all the cards and messages and my DD took a few to pin in her room (some of the animals ones!). You brightened my day and made me smile. And I am forever grateful for that. The last 2 months have sucked, a lot. But hopefully one of the issues will no longer be an issue now!

I just retrieved the mail from our PO Box and I received 5 more Holiday Cards! LOL And they were postmarked Nov 25th, (2) Dec 5th, and (2) Dec 15th!!!! I also received a card back as "Return to Sender, Attempted--not Known, unable to forward" for peasapie (and the address on the card is the one on the sheet!) Thank all of you who sent to me, it warms my cold, meanie, ugly heart! LOL |
