I asked at the PO total and international stamps for 1 Oz is $1.25 Is this from Canada to other countries? Or other countries to the USA?
I'm in the USA and if I buy them on line, they are $1.20 which is good to 190 countries.
They are going up to $1.25 after the first of the year, I believe.
USA to any other country

I like the poinsettia ones too. They are really pretty in person.

Oh man, I just got carried away ordering Holiday stamps. LOL I have plenty of stamps (bought a pack from Costco this summer), but they aren't pretty Christmas ones!

I have always loved holiday stamps and usually buy one booklet for my personal cards. I am excited that this year I can buy several booklets so I can use the different designs that are available. I love the US international poinsettia stamp. I am also looking forward to receiving cards with international stamps, too.

Wow. We're up to 50 participants - if I'm counting correctly, the numbering got a little messed up as I removed several duplicate entries. I'm very glad that we all have the opportunity to wish each other well this holiday season! Again, thank you to the original PEA who got this whole idea rolling The card exchange closes on Sunday, so please make sure to get signed up before then if you'd like to participate. <3

I just ordered lots and lots of stamps today, and the international ones were $1.20. I’m going to run with that and assume the $1.25 doesn’t kick in till January.

Don't forget that you can always use any regular stamps on international mail, as long as the total is whatever it needs to be. I write to someone in France and I always mix it up with stamps so that she gets a nice variety. Sometimes I have to go over by a few cents but I don't mind. Especially not now with the pandemic... any contact with the outside world is a good thing. lol

About how many international ones are y'all buying? I bought one sheet of ten with poinsettias for Christmas, and another sheet of ten with a pink flower (I forget what flower) for other purposes. You can use them on domestic mail, too. Sometimes I need several dollars’ worth of postage.

I bought my cards! It’s a box with lots of designs, so it will be fun to select a card for each of you. I already had my international stamps, but I did pick up Holiday stamps too, since I needed them anyway. I’m excited, I hope everyone else is too. Thanks MichyM for organizing this exchange.

I will wait to PM you to get sorted re: my question until we have the precise numbers of USA participants (those are the main international ones for me).

I find it interesting that you just have one stamp price for outside of the USA. For some reason in Canada, we have a price for the USA and then the rest are International stamps which cost the most.

When I was a kid (like, 50+ years ago) there was one price for Canada and Mexico, and then a higher price for the rest of the world. Yeah, I’m surprised too that Canada is the same price as Australia or Europe!

Just signed up! Extra holiday cheer will be especially good this year, I think. I'm not sure how many home made cards I'll be able to manage so I'm off to look for some cute boxed designs.

At the beginning of Covid, I completely demolished my scrap room with the thought of doing a major re-org. Everything came off the shelves, out of the drawers, etc., with the thought that I’d touch each item and either put it back in an organized manner or I’d donate it. But then I started making face masks to donate and then that transitioned into working at MIL’s every weekend to get her downsized and moved. So my scrap room still looks like a bomb went off. I was able to pick through the rubble to gather all of the supplies I need EXCEPT my favorite product of all time, my water color pencils. Where in heaven’s name would they be? I tell this story not to elicit sympathy, but rather to explain ahead of time if you get a card from me colored in crayon. Friends, it wasn’t supposed to be this way.

Not at you but rather with you. This so could be me at any given time. I like to say creativity is a mess. Yep, that's it. My explanation and I'm sticking to it. I'm in the middle of a move and have store bought (for the first time ever) to mail. But now I have the itch to "create". We'll see. PS I would love colored in crayon. Could turn out cool and if not, relatable.

QUESTION: We have a member who registered here in October 2019, but has never posted anything. Only a first name included. When the address is googled (while I am no web sleuth) the only info I can garner easily is that is it a single family home. Am I including her or not? My inclination is no, but I'm not comfortable making any decisions about the card exchange on my own.
Please share your thoughts ASAP, thanks!
ETA: thanks for the quick replies, I'm going to assume that most, if not agree with those who have said no so far. I will not include her.

Sorry, but I’m going to say No as well. While I have the lowest post count of anyone in the exchange, I’ve been here a long time and have a history here. I think that’s important.
