By the end of 2020. They are not my favorite, but are a sentimental favorite. My maternal Grandmother was all about some TaB, so consequently the grandchildren acquired a taste for it. I'm going to try and fine a 12 pack.

Oh gosh, I remember that from way back in the 70's. I probably only drank it a handful of times, but the commercials were just so perfect for that point in time.

I haven’t seen Tab in ages. I grew up drinking it. It is a sentimental favorite, to be sure!
I’ll just be happy when Coke starts producing caffeine-free Diet Coke in cans again.

I vaguely remember TaB. Is it also a cola flavoured drink?

Didn’t they get rid of it before then brought it back?

I had no idea Tab was still being made!
Tab is the second diet drink I remember. The first was Fresca.

We always had it in our house when I was growing up. I never drank it but it's definitely a symbol of the 70s.

Yes drank many a Tab back in the day. My mom’s hairdresser used to keep the small bottles in her salon and they were kept so cold they starting partially freezing. Good stuff, chemicals and all.

I occasionally see it in stores, and pretty much recoil in horror. That stuff was awful.

That was my Grandma’s drink of choice too. She would use it to wash down her lunch of cottage cheese and pineapple and then proceed to have 4 pieces of fudge or a couple of doughnuts! Of course she walked several miles a day and was trim and fit, so clearly it worked for her.

The pandemic shortage on aluminum has made it so that around here at least, you can only get the small plastic bottles of it.

I'm going to have to grab some. I don't have it often but I love it for some reason. It's also very nostalgic for my 80's adolescent self. It's a very chemical flavor, like bubbly sacharine.

I'm another one who thought they killed that years ago! I drank it - if you thought of it as a cola, it was not drinkable, but if you just thought of it as a drink until itself, it was ok!!

One vending machine in Japan that I knew of had it. It was liquid gold. The can size was regular too not the skinny cans. Heaven!

Tab, Fresca, and Pepsi Light (with a hint of lemon) were my go to drinks in college.

I never tried it. (Born in 1984). I don't even think the 2 Wal Marts I worked at carried it.

I love Tab!!! that is really disappointing. It's hard to find at times, but I still buy it when I see it. My sister affectionately calls me Tab and it started back when I was young and it was the only soda I would drink.

My aunt drank Tab like a fish drinks water. She always had cases of it in her garage in the 70s. I remember being judgy of her habit, but I don't remember why. My family drank soda as well, so it wasn't like I could disapprove of her soda consumption. I was very young, so someone must have put that thought into my head. I haven't seen it in stores in years.

My dad was a Tab addict. He had a huge hoard of it in his garage (I can’t remember if he was buying it on sale, or was worried it would be discontinued) ... huge! cases and cases and more cases.
Then the 1991 Oakland Hills wildfire came and their house was one of the first to burn. And we joked that the streets of Hiller Highlands were running with Tab.
Hey, what are you gonna do? We had to laugh about something.

My friends drank it in college. I couldn’t stand it. We had a reunion a few years ago and I bought a case to the reunion. I better stock up now, it will be a while before we can get together again.

I went through a period where I bought it for while. I really liked it. It’s very saccharine-tasting for sure, but I always felt there was a little lemony taste, too. I might have to look for it one last time.

I was a Tab addict starting in high school. When I started working after college, I would get it from the cafeteria in a styrofoam cup with a lemon wedge instead of coffee and refill it all day. I stopped when I saw that it would start to eat away the styrofoam that if it stayed in the cup for a couple of hours! I switched to coffee after that.

Does anyone know where to buy some? My soon-to-be daughter-in-law has a tradition of drinking one on the anniversary of her mother's death, and one on her mother's birthday, because it was her mom's favorite drink. I'd love to buy her some if I could but I've never seen it here. Admittedly I've never actually looked, lol, but I've certainly been in the soda aisle a lot (Diet Coke here... ) and never noticed it.
