Update!
Let's do this! Its Nov 1 and several of us have unfinished projects that we want to get done before December and the end of the year. Now's the time to do them! No stress, no worries if you don't get everything done like you'd like. Any progress at all is great!
I am a list maker and will be keeping a running list of what I want to get done, and then crossing off what I actually get done. But you do you. Whatever you need to get it done, do it!
My official list:
--PL (not done since Aug) Aug, Sept, Oct. --OLW (not done since SEP) AUG,SEPT, OCT NOV --2Peas Christmas Cards --start DD prep --Army Forge Candle --finish up journaling in 2 travel mini albums --vinyl for family stocking tags --Nov Gratitude mini book
------------------------------------
Original Post:
I am sitting here looking at my list of 'started but not finished' list of 2020 scrappy items. So many unfinished projects/classes. Would anyone be interested in having a concentrated effort in Nov to finish all the things?
If there is any interest, post here. We can cheer each other on and share our successes!

Our president just announced the whole country goes into lockdown tomorrow night so if you'll have someone who's crafting to keep head and hands busy, I'm in. I'll make another confinement mini album, I guess. The irony of being pretty much completely up to date with all scrapbooking projects for the first time ever...
Gah, no access to the outside again. Not a tree or tiniest bit of grass to see besides those three trees I see from a distance on my way to the supermarket. I'll need all the paper escape I can afford for the next 5 weeks.

... Gah, no access to the outside again. Not a tree or tiniest bit of grass to see besides those three trees I see from a distance on my way to the supermarket. I'll need all the paper escape I can afford for the next 5 weeks. I have a slightly different problem. I'm stressing because I need to keep on with winterizing my gardens and getting the yard raked up. We've had rainy days recently on the days I've had available to work, so it's all still hanging over my head. But my 2019 albums are done, and my Christmas cards are mostly done. As soon as I can, I'm heading back outside. I can craft non-stop when the winter gets here. After the new year, I'll get started on my 2020 album.

I really like the idea of using the end of the year as a big push, but my anxiety will not allow me to make any major commitments until after the US election and whatever insanity may follow. But I really do want to set a goal to knock out *something* soon- I've got three years of PL in process and no organization whatsoever for any mini albums I might want to do other than a long list of them. Maybe my focus should be on organization

I would love a push to get it done. I need to finish 2019 JYC and prep my album for this year. I am looking hard for inspiration!

The other day, my oldest asked about last Christmas's pictures. I knew I had done them, but they weren't in the book. I found hidden piles of layouts. Ha. The last pages I put in were August. 2018. So I told my kid I'd be all caught up with the albums by Thanksgiving. I sat down and pulled the kits (they all have pictures printed, layouts picked, and paper picked). I had 5 double pages to finish and I just did a layout of my youngest in his new house. So now four to go to be all caught up with Sept.2020. Now I still have about 20 pages of a 2019 cruise to finish, but that is a different album that I am not counting.

Great idea! I need to make sure I don’t let the winter blahs and darkness make me even lazier than the pandemic has. I need more exercise and more scrapping in my life and less lazing about. I was tidying up my Raskog and found an envelope of older pictures that I meant to scrap. I had totally forgotten about them. I’ll start with those. Tomorrow I’ll get a count of how many layouts I expect to scrap and make some layout plans. I also want to finish up the last few 6x6 SG sketches.

I’m in. I want to finish the last four sketches for the SG 6x6 paper pad class (group 1). I’ve been doing a lot of birthday layouts, so I want to continue on those. I’ve got plenty of UFOs, but I’ll start with those. I’m also toying with doing the positivity passport for November.

Thought of you when I read the news. ❤️ I also am completely caught up on scrapbooking which seems ridiculous considering at the beginning of 2020 I was overwhelmed with projects. What a weird year this has been. I have this months Citrus Twist kit waiting because I have no photos to use it on.... and I don't want to go back and start scrapping old photos from before I started albums. That's too big of a project mentally. I'll just sit here and wait until I get to do something photo-worthy.

I need to! I'm sort of caught up on 2020 PL (photos/cards in the album through September, need to journal/embellish). I have a bunch of projects to work on (older PL, a vacation album, all sorts of photos to scrapbook) and I need to get my DD stuff ready to go. I should plan/print Oct photos other than Halloween stuff.
Hoping to spend some time later in the evenings scrapping, especially on the weekends. Part of my scrappy drag is COVID burn out. I've worked more OT this summer/fall that I have in the last 20 years of work. It's been 7 days a week since August doing case investigations and paperwork/files. My department is in an area of MI that's not doing great. By the time the weekend comes around I just want to veg at night!

sleepingbooty You were my first thought this morning when I saw the news on lockdown. I'm so sorry. I can't imagine how hard it must be for a second round and no outdoor space. This is a great idea. I'm behind on OLW too and of course PL. I have 3 half-started classes and one not started at all. I had grand plans of working on DD this month but then ordered the FJ kit so now trying to patiently wait. Found out we are moving the first week in December so I'm not sure how much crafting will actually happen in November and December. I'm determined to go through every bit of my stash though and only move what I truly want to keep and love to my new space.

I have one crop in November and I will have to work on baby books for my niece and SIL. That will constitute my push.
I have gotten so little done this covid year that I would be like Sisyphus pushing a rock up a hill.

I'll just sit here and wait until I get to do something photo-worthy. Buddy! Buddy! Buddy! (You know, I've thought abut your beach trip story so much I ended up discussing it with someone who's been fostering for years. He said that the beach trip was Buddy's way of "getting" that he had a home now. He had an adventure with you guys after bonding and being away from "your" home for so much excitement - including some apprehension and fear due to unknown smells and other sensory experiences - that returning to the same place, the same smells, the same calm with the same people helped him understand it was his now, too. I'm just so happy for the three of you!)

He does have his own Citrus Twist album but I’m keeping it minimal with photos, dates and IACB printable journal cards - really loving the more simplistic style and how easy it is to get stories told.

My county has not been doing well and is likely heading toward tighter restrictions. But I have a yard and I know that makes a huge difference. I'm sure things can get a bit claustrophobic at times. I'm sorry.

I'm really hoping tomorrow I still have my inspiration and that I just enjoy the day crafting. I got a Tim Holtz glass mat going to get the set up on my table tonite and maybe pull out the supplies I want to use first so I'm ready to just start. Next weekend I am going to my friend's house we bought a Christmas line and three of us are going to make Christmas cards from it. We have already cut and embossed sentiments and various die cuts so its put the products in the middle of the table and go. We have minimal extras to work with...little bling, twine, embossing folders etc.. We have done it in the past with other stuff so we know its productive and fun. Someone comes up with an idea we copy that card, next person etc. We all have the same product. We bought Simple Stories Vintage Christmas, We bought the Snap cards, 6x8 pad and one ephemera pack, we pulled cardstock from our stash and metallic papers. Standard white card bases are already prepped and ready to go.
I hope everyone gets the push they need to create

I really should have been pushing myself in October. DD is getting married 11/14/2020. A covid, DIY 2020 wedding. We are adhering to all our states guidelines and just going with the flow. Need to finish the wedding favors. Collect all the families prior wedding photos and put in frames. Make a guest book/we are having polaroids taken of the guests, and they will sign a tag. I need to have some 5x7 cardstock, and just paperclip them together for a book later?? I have no idea what I'm doing there. Bought the Bella Blvd Christmas stand alone album and need to make it for my friends new grandson. She hosted a beautiful shower for DD, and I know the new mom/grandma will love it. Oh, and I don't have shoes. But I guess that's not scrappy related!!!

I am feeling the need to "push" in a lot of different ways. Usually have made quite a dent in my Christmas shopping list by now. Nothing done on that score. Need to finish all the Christmas cards I need for the exchange. Need to finish the family calendar so I can have it copied in time to send to kids' families for Christmas. Need to get motivated about decorating our home for the holidays, baking Christmas cookies... You know, the "usual" things I have done in great anticipation and which just seem so pointless this year... Would love to join you here. And please, anyone who thinks joining a challenge team will help you, please join us by signing up HERE

I have a bunch of projects I want to work on, as well as ones to finish for Christmas:
-my Christmas cards -tags for gifts -set up my DD before December for once -some felt ornaments -some crocheted items for gifts -some embroidery ornaments
I also have a few classes from Ali Edwards and Cathy Zielske I want to finish, oh, and one from Wilna Furstenburg from 2 or 3 years ago.
This is all in addition to my PL, which I am completely caught up on - it took me a little over a week to get all caught up from August 23 by working in batches - print all photos, decorate all photos & put in album, write up all journalling.
I have been really obsessed with card making lately so I've neglected scrapbooking, except for my PL. I'd love to get some pages done this fall, too.
I have a lot but I've been in a really crafty mood lately and not having a 2 hour commute each day (working from home) really frees up my time.

I got a double page layout finished of my son's engagement. Woot. He had it planned that it was going to be a photo shoot that the gf requested before she went to school. She had no idea he was proposing. Kind of funny. She had told her friends one time she wanted it to happen in this specific park, with their moms there, and she wanted someone to take photos and her nails to be done. I had to laugh because she actually willed it to happen there. He didn't have to do much since I was going to take some fall photos of them there anyway. I got so many good pictures that I had to do a couple of layouts.

I was doing really well with my 2020 PL and came to a halt in August. Can’t get motivated, though I know it will make me happy to do some scrapping again. A November push might be what I need!
