Any crafty plans for this weekend? The class I had booked for next weekend (painting a barn board sleigh) has been cancelled due to tightening Covid restrictions, but they have made the class into a kit, so I will be picking that up this next week. I won't be painting it though. I had planned to give the sleigh as a gift to my ddil, but she is quite a talented artist, so I think she will enjoy painting it herself from the kit. Picked up my pile of goodies (a calendar kit as a gift for my niece, and PhotoPlay O Canada 2 and Hockey collections, along with a PhotoPlay winter collection which I couldn't resist) from the LSS, along with some glue. Resisted their monthly kit. But there is a pizza box on its way to me with a couple of kits from a different store. Have done a bit of Black Friday shopping on line: some dies from Karen Burniston, and a few things from Paper Wishes. I have a few more (local) cards to address and put into the mail, but basically done with holiday card making. It was fun making cards, but DOES feel good, mikklynn to get back to pages. Printed some photos that were on my phone this week so got to play with some summer pic's. Hoping to finish a couple more LO's in the next few days. Have the papers and photos pulled for the first one...

grammadee Sounds like you have a lot of scrappy goodness going on. Love getting new papers. And good for you getting those cards finished and back to the layouts! 😁 I'm hoping to sneak away to my room and scrap a little today. I want to finish October pandemic layouts and get them in my book before it's time to print and scrap November pandemic layouts. I still have summer and autumn birthday pics to scrap. And Halloween. And a whole slew of other moments to capture on paper.

Sounds like if you were inspired to create 7 cards from one sheet of that pp, hop2, then it was a good buy! Graphic 45 papers scare me: it's like they want me to create something meaningful or artistic or something else above my pay grade, or at least my skill level. A map like the one you are using would be perfect: use it a little at a time. LavenderLayoutLady, I hope you carved out a little crafty time. Seems like you were up pretty early this Sunday morning!

I finished the rest of those 12 cards from the graphic 45 paper. I have 10 holiday cards with the one side & 2 birthday cards with the gears side.

Did two cards (one is below) and made 1 12x12 layout. Yipee!! I love the card because I used a $2 stamp set from Joann's and random ink mini cubes + some distress oxide for the background. I love when I use my cheap-y finds to make something I like.
