So I'm sitting here at my computer doing other things and I heard the wooshing sound of the balloon. I picked up the Switch, found the balloon, popped it... Not the DIYs I want but I did get the "tree's bounty big tree". Which naturally I already have. But does someone else here need that one? Let me know and I'll send it right over.

I was watching a live stream last night for a bit and there was definitely some things available from that list from time travelling, because this person was TT. If there are no more updates coming, it seems odd that they could control the TT aspect because the date should trigger the items.

Also, I'm basically giving up on the maple leaf DIYs. If anyone ends up with an extra of the pond stone and/or the stool could you please pass them my way? And I bet there will be other people here with this same wishlist. I've been sitting here working with my Switch open so I could chase balloons... half the time no balloon spawn at all. The rest of the time it's junk inside. ugh Good grief, this is so true!! I sat for 15-20 minutes before leaving for lunch to hunt balloons. I didn't find a one. Didn't hear swooshing air, nothing. |

I'm assuming many/most of the items are things we buy, not DIYs to make -- I'm thinking of the doll houses and stuff like that. Heading into December now to check.  |

Jumped three days in December so far, nothing different for sale. Except a cute sweater. lol.
However, I did shoot down a balloon with the log chair DIY -- wasn't there someone here who wanted that one? I have to run out in a sec, but if no one replies here I'll scroll back and find the DIY list.

I have been ballon farming while doing deep kitchen cleaning, but so far nothing good.
Between Dilbert and I, I have all the ones I want now, so if I get any extras they will be for you guys. It is nice to just tell him to open up when I want to drop stuff off for him to craft for me.

A lot of the newer items won't be unlocked until the real time dates, like Franklin & Jingle. Apparently they did this in the spring for Bunny Days, too, so time travelers couldn't access items until the real days. No idea why they didn't lock Halloween, but, there ya go. I'm not sure what items you can purchase in Nook's by traveling to December, but definitely no Jingle or Franklin visits.  |

By any chance do you have the Nintendo online account ($20/year)? If so, click the home button on the right controller and with the left controller, toggle up to ‘your’ page then press A. You will then be on your profile page and you will see your friend code. This is the 12 digit code we use to add you as our friend then when you are able to open your gates at your airport, we can come visit (or we can open our gates and you can come visit). I hope I am explaining correctly! Or, look at page 1 of this thread and go to your profile and go down 3 times with the left controller and click ‘add friend’. Then go to the right (with the left controller) and go down to ‘search with friend code’. This is where you can input the codes we provided that are on page 1. Does that make sense? |

Ok, I think I just got lucky. I was on the phone walking someone through something and decided to pick up my Switch. I could see the shadow of a balloon. Turned around and popped it. A red balloon and it had the Maple Leaf umbrella!! Now I just need to plop my headphones in tonight while I try to engage in something else and listen.

Who needs the stool yet? I picked up an extra this afternoon. I'm stealing them from the kids. LOL Actually, I play as them since they don't play anymore. They like watching me play or looking to see what changes I've made. So I'm not really stealing the recipes from them.

Also, I finally got another balloon. So now I have a mush lamp, mush parasol and mush umbrella extras. I'll open up if someone needs to come over and grab them.

So while I'm time traveling through December Diva asked to leave. She hasn't given me her photo yet but I find her to be creepy (the frogs and octopi are both creepy) so I said yes. So here I am hopping mystery islands to find someone new. Let me just say that there are quite a few creepy looking villagers out there! I'm talking to Roscoe now, but nope nope and nope to inviting him to move to my island. He looks like something out of a nightmare.  Especially in the dark! |

redbusc, thank you very much! Now we will see if that causes me to get the DIY. lol. Funny thing...I was just working on one of my train layouts and a balloon floated overhead. I popped it and the gift fell down right near one of the trains, perfectly placed. So I left it there to be part of the set-up! hahaha Wouldn't it be funny if I find the pond stone or stool DIY in there when I clean this all up after Christmas?
