GOP Senate and House candidates are refusing to concede. The Senate dude list by 87000+ votes. Citing irregularities (with no evidence) in the vote.

I’m still a ball of nerves and anxiety. I fear what 45 will do and get away with in the next few months. The fact that the vast majority of the GOP are plugging their ears and la la la-ing while 45 tries to burn it all to the ground is so disconcerting, if not unexpected. I’m so sad for our country. I really don’t understand how we have not evolved. I hope we can have more unity but I’m not sure how, The fact that Mitch and Lindsey are still in office is proof that karma is a load of crap. I know I’m rambling, it all still feels like a lot.

The foreign Peas have been great and honestly such a comfort. The gaslighting has taken a toll.

There are millions of people IN the US that question the same thing.

The 53% of Biden voters are also wondering about the sanity of the 47% of votes for our impeached president.  Ultimately I believe that people looked at the growth of their retirement funds and voted with their pocketbooks.  Many people here are only concerned with themselves as evidenced by the push back to wear masks and vote for our soon-to-be (hopefully) impeached former president because they had a nice nest egg for retirement.

They don't even need tranquilisers at this stage: he's still physically struggling with Covid-19 effects. Shallow breaths, lower volume, raspy voice. He couldn't make himself heard without a microphone or Twitter access. 

Time to burn the MAGA hats and get yourself a PAGA hat...

Yesterday I watched his speech at the White House and said to myself, damn he still isn't well. He was tired, looked like crap, and was having trouble speaking and breathing, and cpuldn't keep track of where he was

There are a crap ton of us who are asking the same question over here.

This is pretty much the consensus here also.  He is a laughing stock.  His behaviour is exactly what we expect of toddlers when they don't get their own way, not just now but throughout his term.   I'm sure following meetings with other leaders, they go home saying WTF was that.  Surely his own followers have to begin to question his loyalty to his country when he is making it so clear that he doesn't care about its wellbeing and is only concerned with his own position.  

I know, I just giggle to myself when he says he is Republican.  His parents are flaming liberals and all their kids claim to be Republicans, it kills them as they wonder where they went wrong.  

Montgomery County here. Lots of flags and banners, and even larger yard banners especially in the two weeks leading to the election. I am on the border of Chester County and it is the same there. Trumpers like their swag and their hats, even if it is made in China. I pass one place on the way to the storage locker with a sign that says “NASA lies, the earth is flat”. We had a father and son team riding a bike with a Trump flag but haven’t seen them since Tuesday.
I don’t think I am of an age that this is going to make it into history books or museums with a thoughtful analysis of just how awful a president he was, but I hope in fifty or so years that time will give that perspective.

@zingermack That Sun piece reads like some BoJo propaganda on the verge of a no-deal Brexit that is his own fault and doing. Jussayin'. We all know Biden will vastly improve the relationships with the traditional US allies but I saw nothing of worth in this article.
