In addition to the collections scheduled for release this month (as discussed here), Echo Park introduces Solids Pad in 6 color schemes (girl, spring, boy, outdoors, neutral, & summer). Each Solids Pad contains 48 sheets (ie 3 sheets each of 16 colors) of heavy-weight 12x12 cardstock. Thoughts? ETA: Thanks to Matt at ACOT for additional information. Per his post below, the paper is the same weight & smooth texture as existing Echo Park cardstock but single-sided with a white b-side & core.

I love their colors but wouldn't actually purchase probably. Maybe I would bite in a 6x6 size.

I like all the colors, and use a ton of cardstock.
But.....
Can we stop gendering paper pads, please? (Said to the company, not the poster)

I like when I can purchase a cardstock pack to match a collection. I don't know if I'd buy these.

Nice concept. Wish they had a subtle pattern to them, not just plain solid.

I love pastels for projects with my daughter. Also love neutrals for our road trips so I would definitely get those two thanks for sharing.

Says a female who loathes pink 😏 that said, they look interesting and I probably try one since I use their papers to make donation cards to see if it is complimentary

If the colors coordinated with their pattern paper pads then I would buy.

When reading the description I was thinking I’d skip them but I do like the assortment of papers for each pack. And the price per page isn’t bad depending on the weight. I usually grab bazzill solids from Joann when they go on sale so that’s a better cost per bit I like the look of this selection since it’s somewhat limited at Joann. I’m also not a really pink girl but I like the girl paper pad. It has a nice assortment of not just pink.

Yes- I like these - I would probably wait for a sale though because I don't actually NEED them.
and yes - paper pads don't need a gender

Is it smooth? I think I'd rather have a texture or subtle tone on tone pattern.

Hi all, to answer a few questions here - from what we've been told, these are going to be the same weight and texture (i.e. smooth) as the existing Echo Park solids papers and paper packs that are released with each collection. The only difference is these will be single-sided instead of double, so the core and back will be white. The colors should coordinate with their lines in general, but obviously you'd have to do the matching yourself. We should have them in hand soon!

Personally I don't like that they are single sided and I also don't like the gummed paper packs. Am I the only one who always has gummy stuff on one end and Can Not get it off?! I think it looks tacky and also feels a little weird. That's just me. Colors are nice...but it's a pass for me.

Thanks for the replies! Please keep them coming... I love their colors but wouldn't actually purchase probably. Maybe I would bite in a 6x6 size. I wish matching cardstock in 12x12, 6x6, & 6x8, offered individually &/or in packs (not pads) either specific to each collection or in each brand's general color palette, was a staple in the industry. I like all the colors, and use a ton of cardstock. But..... Can we stop gendering paper pads, please? (Said to the company, not the poster) Agreed. I would prefer the names describe the actual colors included (eg Warm, Cool, Dark, Light, Primary, Secondary, Jewel, Earthy, Muted, Pastel, Bright), rather than stereotypically/randomly assign a gender or season to colors. Personally I don't like that they are single sided and I also don't like the gummed paper packs. Am I the only one who always has gummy stuff on one end and Can Not get it off?! I think it looks tacky and also feels a little weird. That's just me. Colors are nice...but it's a pass for me. These are also a pass for me due to the gummy-bound pad (The struggle is real!) & single-sided sheets with white b-sides & core.

I would be all over these if they were just a subtle tone on tone pattern. It is nice to have the option though. It would be good if any future releases had a bit of that "b-side" feeling

I do like their colors and would have considered buying until I read that they had a white B side. I tend to make cards and sometimes scrap on both sides of a page, so this won't work for me.

Now that I have thought about them, they would be great to take to crops. I would have a nice assortment of colors.
I do wish they were double sided, but the price is really good.

My TM has also made packs of 10 - 12 x 12 sticker sheets with similar themes for $14.99. Good price per sheet, but I have a lot of them already.
