Update 11/26:
I cannot thank you all enough for the care and concern. I am feeling okay, fortunately.
My sister and mother in law dropped off a huge feast for us and my family is well cared for.
Who knew that scrapbooking would lead me to this tribe of kind and wonderful women? I can't tell you how much joy and drama the Peas add to my life.
Wishing you all peace and good health, and again....just so, so, thankful for you all.

Ugh!
I have had chills and fever since yesterday and woke up today feeling achy and tired. I paid for a rapid test and yup. I have it.
My husband has chills and a slight fever, but he has not been tested.
My biggest worry at this point is my 69 year old dad. We have been staying away from him, but he came over on Sunday so I could help with some insurance paperwork. My mom died 3 years ago and I've been the one who helps with those things since then.
My 7 year old is worried about me, but I'm more worried about keeping up with him and his 2 year old brother. I'm exhausted.
Anyway, I just wanted to get that out. I am healthy and worried, but not scared, for my own health at this point. I just don't know what I'd do if my dad gets sick.
I know you are a wonderful group and I thank you in advance for your concern, prayers, good vibes and juju!!! I'll take whatever y'all send my way.

I'm sorry to hear. My co-worker & his wife have just had it. He's also in his 60s. They got it from their 2 year old granddaughter, who got it from her other grandmother. They were sick for around 10 days, but on the mend now. His wife still gets breathless walking up the stairs and he is tired all the time, but they feel much better. Hoping that you & your father will be okay.

Oh dear! Hopefully your Dad will not get it. There have been couples that one gets it and the doesn't, so it's very possible he's ok.
I pray that you feel better soon and that it doesn't get too bad for you!

I can understand your concern for your dad, but I hope all is well with YOU too. Fortunately, most cases are light and I surely hope that is so with you. Keep us updated please. Just said a prayer for your dad (and you).

Sending you strength to deal with your household and your illness. Does your dad have someone else who can check on him or take hime for a test if he starts having symptoms? You are so sweet to think of that! Fortunately, my brother lives with my dad. He said he feels fine so far. Crossing EVERYTHING that continues. My brother who lives and works with him actually tested positive for Covid antibodies. He and my father were both terribly ill early this year, so I am hoping my dad already had it and that he'll be fine. You are one of the sweetest ladies here. <3 |

I hope you are able to have a quick recovery and I hope your dad does not get it from you or anyone else.
My DD is recovering. She is back to work 5 days. She is still tired and out of breath. She stands all day at work ( retail) and now it is busy season.
