You have always been a part of the heist. You're only mad now because you don't like your cut.

Chopping vegetables. I love cooking but wish I had a prep cook assistant.

Mine is interesting. It’s the dinner debate we have nightly. I suggest fish he wants meat. I say meat he wants sausages. The dinner game drives me bonkers.

omg cutting up a whole chicken! I can't do it! Every time I wind up with these weird Franken pieces! I've watched so many videos, it looks so damn easy, why can't I do it?! I know it's not the same but this reminded me of yesterday. It was just me and DS for Thanksgiving. Because of broken shoulder he helped out. We roasted a whole chicken I ordered and he picked up curbside. When it was done, there was no way in hell I could cut it so I "coached" him. He just wasn't getting it. Or so I thought. When we (he) finally got leg cut for himself and slice of breast for me, I discovered it wasn't DS problem. It was the damn chicken. Or should I say "tough old bird". It was the worst chicken I've ever had. Usually I buy Tyson or one I know to be good. I think with smaller groups this year, chickens were more in demand so I took what I could get. Big mistake. It's now back in the freezer for my eldest to thaw later and share bit by bit for their cats. It was that bad. Was about to toss when the cats begged for it over zoom. DS actually, now that I think of it, had to remove it from the garbage can to bag and freeze. DS had some sides and topped it off with a box of Kraft thick n creamy and was happy about it. He's the same one who told me days earlier not to bother going through the trouble for Thanksgiving because "2020 doesn't deserve it." I think he somehow knew better. ETA Clean up. THe clean up, to me, is the worst.
