I think the people who price the merchandise are way off sometimes. They will price one sheet of vellum for $5 (originally) and then say $1.99 is the new price. Nope. I also think some of the Authentique (not all) include more than just the original 12 sheets and that means the price can double. Nope. Maybe when things go to clearance after 6 months, they will start to rethink the price of some of these items. Agreed. I giggle at the $26.99-40.00 MSRPs on the stickers of Authentique 12-sheet paper packs priced at $9.99-14.99 that have been stocked the past 3-4 months. The same packs are listed at $16.99 MSRP (& often on sale/clearance for less) at online retailers. ...One thing I saw that was a very good deal was a 10 pack of themed 12 x 12 Echo Park sticker sheets for $14.99. They had themes of Fall, Girl, Boy, Outdoors, Spring, Winter, etc. So the sticker sheets came out to only $1.49 each. The problem would be that you don't need all ten sheets of one theme. A good product if you are trying to build. your inventory though. I have so much Echo Park that it was the last thing I needed... I bought a couple these sticker packs, which include Echo Park & Carta Bella collections dated 2010-2019! (I'm surprised EP still has 5-10 year old sticker sheets in its warehouse, given its own outlet store, selling to TM/online discount retailers/kit clubs, etc.) I'm not a theme scrapper, so often split paper/collection packs with a friend who is. Therefore, I have a healthy inventory of classic patterned (e.g. solids, dots, stripes, plaids) EP/CB papers but few stickers. Given I still have years of our now college-aged son's childhood photos to scrap, I thought these stickers would be useful. However, they are SO character heavy (& outside my simple/clean/linear/non-themed wheelhouse) with few border & alpha stickers. I'm uncertain whether to return or keep - & challenge myself to actually use - them. Since I also bought a couple packs of Bazzill 25-sheet, single color cardstock ($4.99 for 12x12 & $3.99 for 8.5x11) in neutrals, this was the first time in months that I didn't leave TM empty-handed. What did you purchase this week?

What did you purchase this week? I found the Bazzill dot paper in Julep (pretty blue/green color) 25 pack. That was it. I had the heart confetti die in my hand and put it back when I saw it was $10. I might regret it since it had 5-6 different sized small hearts, but the price doubled since the last time I bought a EK Success punch. It was my way of sticking it to the man! Echo Park has been reprinting so many packs that I doubt those sticker packs are old at all. I'll bet they just reprinted them for TM packs.

The price increase seems to just be getting worse. I saw the EK Success punches double in price. ... My guess would be that all of the people who buy out the craft aisle to sell online aren't going to make much of a profit any longer so that may leave more supplies on the shelves. Good point, but it’s small consolation if the prices are too high for the rest of us, too.

I went to the closest TM this morning, for the second time since Covid-19 hit. The first time I went the craft section was almost completely empty. Today they had a ton of paper (so much paper!) but very few embellishments.
I picked up:
Fancy Pants Designs three pack of Cherry On Op embellishments (tags & labels, Ephemera pack, felt pieces)
Shimelle Starshine Rub-on rollers
Bella Blvd. Word Salad Stickers
KaiserCraft Native Breeze Paper and Sticker pack (6 12x12 papers and a 12x12 sticker sheet)
Fancy Pants Designs Good ‘Ol Days Paper & Embellishments kit (10 12x12 papers and three silicone embellishments)
Sweet Sugarbelle cookie dough die, set of 5 colors
I haven’t purchased anything from KaiserCraft in years but the Native Breeze papers are absolutely beautiful.

I think the florals mixed with navy is absolutely gorgeous.
