Had to take my car in for some warranty work last week & DH and I debated buying a new car. I realize that for the first time ever I have zero car envy & DIDN'T want a new car (or the accompanying payment as my MDX is paid off)
If price was NO object, what car would you have?
If I could just have a "fun car" that could sit in the garage unless I felt the need to drive it, I'd want a cute shiny red convertible Mercedes with white leather seats. My girls would hate the wind in their hair, but I'd like it for the rare times I drive alone.

My parents just bought an Acura SUV. I'd be down with that.
I enjoy looking at old restored cars and expensive sports cars, but they aren't really me.. That said, I'd certainly enjoy a couple if DH wanted one or ten after we win the lottery. lol.

Hope you don't mind me sharing... Dh bought me a 2013 Camero for my b-day last year. I've always driven mini vans and suv's and was happy with my Honda CRV. That being said, I am loving the Camero! ETA - so sorry for the HUGE picture. Need to learn how to resize

My parents just bought an Acura SUV. I'd be down with that. That's what I have now. Funny thing is that I was opposed to the purchase. DH really liked the cars and the options and that it was more "manly" than my Lexus and he won. He was right.

Ingrid6- that's a gorgeous car! thanks! I love the color and it's a lot of fun to drive but, what a pain when I have to go grocery shopping. There is zero room in the trunk!

I would have to go with a brand new Toyota Avalon. I had a 96 that I loved! My oldest owns it now and over 200k miles and (knock on wood) it is still going.

Ingrid, that's a good looking camaro. I saw one I really liked. It was black with orange trim. I think that's what I'd like to have if I could have any car I wanted.

oh lord, if I ever get some of that powerball money, I'm totally going to have a bunch of fun cars.
'69 Mustang fastback New Camaro An older Hummer H2 (I keep shopping online for one of these. Someday my husband is gonna come home and I'm gonna be all "uhhh.. I need to tell you something") Land Rover I need my old jeep back (I traded it for my new jeep). It was a 2 door and it was more fun. Noisy as hell but fun.

My fun car would be a Mercedes convertible. Or a Porsche convertible. Really, a convertible will do.

Pretty much on opposite ends of the spectrum, but a Tesla Model S (which would be the best daily driver EVER) and an Audi R8 (entirely impractical, but fantastic).

I have it sitting in the drive...a 2011 lincoln mkt. Loaded to the gills. We bought it used, and we totally love it. It's so luxurious, we never dreamed we could afford a top of the line lincoln. God bless my hubby for working so hard!
I have no desire to have a car that sits in the garage because it's too expensive to drive daily.

For me, it's not a matter of price but convenience. I would like a cherry red Mini with a white racing stripe.

Black w/orange sounds sharp! I've seen one around here that was black w/red trim and I really liked it. Anyone that's interested in older cars -have I got a deal for you We have a 65 Barracuda that is sitting in the garage in 'my' parking spot! Only 45,000 original miles. Finally got dh to agree to let it go. Time to put it on craigslist!

I have no desire to have a car that sits in the garage because it's too expensive to drive daily. Even worse is to have TWO cars that sit in the garage and not get driven daily - not because they are expensive, though, but because they are "rare" according to my DH - a 90 VW G60 Corrado and an 81 VW Scirocco S Callaway ... where's the eye-rolling smiley, I NEED IT! Meanwhile my little Audi A3 TDI sits under the trees, tree sap, bird poops ... UGH!! My dream car is either a classic Mini Cooper or a Pantera, talk about opposite ends of the spectrum!

Cherry red Mustang convertible. We had one for a rental earlier this year on vacation. I'll have to come back and post a photo. I didn't want to give it back when we left!

My first car was a 1966 Impala. I bought it for $325 in 1973 when gas was 39 cents a gallon. Great car. My next car was a 1968 metallic gold Mustang, purchased for $600 in 1976. Wish I had both cars still!
