DH started getting a sore throat last night and woke up to a high fever, sweats, chills and cough. We got him a rapid test today and examined by urgent care and it came back positive for Covid. Prayers (or positive thoughts) that it is mild. He is not in a high risk category, but I am because of my asthma. **We just got a call that my Mom passed away - she also tested positive for Covid and it was too much with her underlying conditions. **My mom's funeral was yesterday - graveside only - very limited family members there distanced and masked - they zoomed it for me so I could at least see it. It just doesn't feel real. DS and I both have Covid symptoms as well - DS pretty mild and he is already feeling better - mine has been awful. We aren't able to be tested because there is no way I can drive to the town that offers testing. DH is also miserable, but is looking a little better this morning. We have been masking, in separate rooms and cleaning well trying to keep DD from getting anything. I assume that she has already been exposed, but just in case...

I'm sorry. I hope your DH's will be a mild case and that you escape from catching it. Stay your distance, try and isolate as much as you can and wash those hands as often as you possibly can. Stay safe.

What a lousy way to end a lousy year. I'm so sorry. I hope your husband has a milder case and that no one else catches it as well. Healthy thoughts being sent to you both!

I hope he has mild symptoms and recovers fast. And I hope you don't get it. The hardest part for my 17 yr. old was being in her room for 10 days.
My husband's employees have been safe from covid until this week. Two employees got it from their kids this week, so now the entire Research and Development team has to quarantine for 2 weeks. Most employees have been working from home, but the plant workers and some others still have to come in.

Prayers for your DH to get thru this safely!! Prayers to you that you keep far away and that you don't get it!!
As a sidenote: I've been too worried about DH getting Covid at every turn because he's a very high risk to begin with, that I don't think of myself. I have asthma & COPD also. Prayers that you avoid this terrible virus!
