I only got in about 2 miles today. But I had a good time at church!! I sat outside with my congregation, and soaked up some Southern California sunshine. That had to be good for me right?

Back to my standard plan: 3-4 spin classes ✔✔ yoga ✔ hopefully a 5 km walk. It's been tricky to get out lately. After Christmas, I want to change things up a bit and schedule time for full body or weights. I just haven't had the time

As usual, I plan to walk 37,500 steps this week. I need 700 more today. That should be no problem.
It's a challenge to get exercise in the week leading up to Christmas. I'm proud of all of you.

Did a sunset yoga class last night, which competed my week of exercise every day. Yay!
This week: Monday - 15,000 steps Tuesday - Boot camp plus walk the dog Wednesday - 15,000 steps Thursday - Christmas Eve, unsure what is happening this day. Should be boot camp but not sure the trainer is going to offer it Friday - Christmas, get as many steps as possible but not going to stress myself out. Maybe a walk on the beach. Saturday - boot camp Sunday - beach yoga
Happy week, everyone. Keep your options for joy open, it's a tough week for a lot of us. I just made a Christmas playlist on Spotify for both my sons and sent them the link. I hope they enjoy it. Playlists tell a story, don't they?

I still have the goal of reaching 300 peloton cycling classes by the end of the year. I have 9 left.
Today I did 30 min on the elliptical, 20 min flutes and legs and 15 min pilates (all using the peloton app).
I want to figure out more of a routine but am not sure how to get everything in that I want to do and also get results. I do the elliptical (peloton “rides”), upper and lower body strength, barre 3 and now pilates that the peloton app just added. Any suggestions on how often to do each for best results?

Hi everyone! My goals are the same. Walk, aerobics and yoga. My arm seems to be getting better but still not a 100% so I am being gentle.

Finished another 30 minute spin class tonight.
I think we need a healthy eating section after the holidays. I've got the exercise routine down but the diet part is going terribly.

I am mainly just trying to get step count up this week. So far I am taking the dogs on more walks than usual and trying to make my compost pile look 'less crappy' by putting a ton of leaves to 'hide' all the paper and cardboard in the compost.

I just went for a dog walk today LOL. Maybe 2 km.
My butt hurts from spin class. Feels like my tail bone is bruised. So I took today off.
Tomorrow I'll wear some bike shorts and see how it goes.

Starting over again makes me realize just how "creaky" my body is. I joined 99Walks and have been gently walking every other day this week. Anywhere from a mile to two miles. Thank goodness the walking trails in our community HOA parks are right outside my door. I should be able to build back up pretty quickly. I am banking hard on muscle memory. 😁

I started my day today with Cody’s holiday ride and it was great. Between grocery shopping and tons of baking, I’ve been on my feet all day and They are killing me. I’ve been having a lot of problems with my back and feet this week. Hopefully next week is better. I hope everyone has a great holiday! And thanks for the pic, Kelly!

Hope everyone is enjoying the holidays!
I've done 2 spin classes and yoga this week. I do want to complete one more spin class today or the 5km walk. I'll have to check the weather. It's windy and snowy at the moment. Have a great weekend.

Ok I did not meet my goal this week but I'll get back on it. Proud of you tentoes for getting out there in the rain and cold, because we did not go walking in the pouring rain or on the icy sidewalks the next day when the temperature dropped. Wow iamkristinl16, I am rooting so hard for your 300 ride goal. That will be quite an accomplishment. @evie, how does 99Walks work? Glad you have good trails outside your door. We have streets and sidewalks here. kibblesandbits, your goals are always amazing. Not that I'm jealous about the beach yoga or anything. cecilia, I'm with ya - time for a fresh start. I'll be one of those cliche New Year's people I guess. sawwhet, yep too many Christmas cookies found their way into my stomach. And I gave my daughter a pint/personal ice cream maker for Christmas. Hopefully we'll fill it with lowfat yogurt and fruit. Agreed on the healthy nutrition goal. I am slightly over my goal weight, but I am not going to stress for now, just not go crazy with calories. Then on Jan. 2 I will start logging my meals, just like last summer when I reached my goal weight. I don't know why that works so well for me, but it does. Awareness I guess. kellyr21, thanks so much for keeping this thread and I love the pic of you looking fit.

My week went mostly as planned except that boot camp this morning was cancelled because it was too cold. I did most of my plan, and added a huge bike ride on Christmas Eve. jjpeapea The beach yoga is amazing - totally makes my day when I can get to a class.
