I’m not doing the best at this. I decided to upgrade my desk and bought a light and a pegboard. I’m ok with this because I have been working from home and it’s about time I upgraded a bit more. But then I also bought 4 everyday explorers grab bags. I have however used a good amount of my supplies from my paper person kits and my feed your craft kits so I’m happy with that progress. I also have several pages planned out. I probably would have caved on the EE grab bags if they hadn’t sold out so quickly - hard to pass up the prices! Her stuff is so great, but a bit pricey at regular price. You’ll have to share what you get!

Well, it's the 17th and I've only spent money on ordering Dec 2020 photo prints. So... very, very chilly.
And I agree with you ladies... It is eye opening to see how many layouts it takes to use up a paper pad, sticker sheets, etc.

I’m still frozen! I haven’t scrapped very much this month, but I’m still frozen! And there aren’t any new releases that are tempting me so I feel confident about staying frozen.

I fell off the wagon but am climbing back on - we went into the city today - haven't been since early Jan 2020 - and hit Michaels (I didn't buy anything), Tuesday Morning (cardstock and a die), and Joanns (a stamp set, a stamp/die set, and gnome washi flakes)

Late to the party, but I’m planning on being very chilly this year. I’m keeping my Felicity jane and Elle’s studio, but I’m only getting the subscription and not adding anything else to my shipment.

I passed up buying three 12x12 pattern paper pads today.
Cheap - $4 each. One was Amy Tangerine, one was K & Co, one was Jenn something, I think.
Anyway, I was asking myself: Do I want them because I love them, or because of proximity?
And it was definitely the latter. I can't even remember exactly what they look like now, just a few hours later.
Still passed them up.

I’m staying chilly for the most part. I still have my Elles studio sub and have allowed you to a certain dollar around of add ons only if I know exactly what I will use them on. I went a tad over this month so a lose but at the same time I know there are months I will add nothing on and it will equal out. I’ve been tempted with a couple of new realses but resisted especially after looking at my stash

I had 4 things in my cart today - 2 nesting die sets in basic shapes I don't have, a paper pad that coordinates with other items I'm trying to use up, and a leaf stencil - but I decided to hold off and see if I can make the cards I want to without these items. I'm pretty sure I can. I'm arguing with myself because they are useful basic items and they were all slightly discounted, but the shipping costs erase the savings anyway. I'm trying to use things up but I often feel like I need more stuff to be able to do that. gah!
For now I'm staying strong. I'm going to *make it work* !

I didn't do so well this weekend. I caved and preordered some of the new Vicki Boutin. I also bought some of the papers from Paige Evans last line. For some reason, when I bought that last year I got all of the embellishments and about 8-10 papers so now I have some scraps and a ton of dies, stickers & chipboard pieces. ACOT still had a 6x8 pad and a few random pages so I bought that which shipped today. Now I on a freeze for real.

We've made it to March. How is everyone doing with their frozen/chilly goals?
I just placed a CM order so I'm not frozen, but I've definitely been on the low spend train. I don't online browse like I used to these days.

I have not been totally frozen either. However, I have modified my habits to decrease my crafty spending. I am not watching virtual crafty shopping events, so I am not tempted. I have bought organizing items to get my hoard in control and that reminds me that I don't need anything else.

I don’t think I have bought anything. I get 2 subscriptions each month from feed your craft and paper person. I have also bought some extras from paper person. I can’t resist them.
I have used a lot of my stash. I’m currently going through and organizing. I alphabetized my Felicity Jane papers so I can start using them more like a kit. My goal is to kill on collection every month or so. I also have a box of photos I’m trying to get through. I pulled a couple of sets of spring photos to work on during the next couple of months.
I’m still super motivated to eliminate some of my stash and get it down even more. I have made great progress in the past year but still want to reduce it again by half.

I bought the albums I needed to hold my 2021 pages but so far that is it. I’m really proud of not having spent anything yet and hope to keep this up until the middle of the year at least. The thing I’m most proud of is the noticeable (and increasing) space in my journaling cards storage, I’ve been focusing on using them and it shows.

I've been using up some patterned paper and supplies for half-finished projects, and have only splurged on new supplies a couple of times.
MFT's Blitzday sale caught me a week or two ago - I saw an item on my wishlist was half off, and added some other useful things that I know I will use to my cart, some on sale, some not, but I took so long the original alpha die I had gone to buy was sold out by the time I finished checking out. gah! And Hero Arts got me with a gift card giveaway - I won $25 and spent another $26 of my own money but I got a sold out kit I'd been sad about missing out on in January and another item I had on my wishlist for several months.
I've been sucked into following brands on IG again, for giveaways, which is not a great idea. I need to mute them. I get enough influencing from the DT members, I don't need any more!
The other day I reorganized my craft cart as an experiment to make my room look less cluttered and it brought my stamps and dies up to the top shelf where I'm able to see them a lot better and see that they're starting to outgrow their space. So hopefully this will encourage me to use them a lot more and maybe sell/give away a few that are not my style any more and not buy many more!

I've been chilly not frozen despite my ticker but I'm definitely frozen now - I'm all moved into my new craft room and it's very clear to me that I have more than sufficient scrapbooking supplies. There are several groups of supplies that have overflowed their storage space - cardstock, patterned paper, and collection kits especially - and even as fast as I scrap when I'm on a roll, I simply don't use enough to make much of a dent.

I did well in January and stuck to my frosty plan - my Elle’s Studio kit and less than $25 spending. I canceled all my other kits, and have not been tempted at all by Kelly Purkey’s kits (I really thought I would have FOMO, but I’m really glad I canceled). February I went over and bought a few things, but was more intentional. March, well, I got my credit card rewards $$ (and stimulus, right?), so I spent that on some stamps from Everyday Explorers Co and a kit + stamps from FYC. I did resist Elle’s Studio cute bday release, so some willpower there. I plan to be frosty again in April to get through until NSD sales.

I've only bought from Kelly's Paper Person shop in February. Two 3x4 stamp sets, a sticker sheet and a 3x4 journaling card set. Nothing else has really tickled my fancy.
I'm going to give myself a bit of time to think the following purchases over before I decide to go through with them or not: - a few Catherine Pooler ink pads (I've fallen in love with the crisp results and nice colour selection, particularly the green shades) - a few more Kelly Purkey stamp sets before she stops shipping to the EU this summer due to VAT collection changes - a small selection of items of the Kelly Purkey x Pinkfresh Some Days collection - a Happy Planner for memory-planning next year since the 18 month ones are currently in stock from a French vendor (but said vendor doesn't carry much of the 12 month release that comes out in late summer)
I'm not in love with anything on the market right now. I'm really thinking more in terms of needs and gaps in my small stash these days and find that I often walk away from a scrappy purchase because I end up coming to terms with the fact that while said item would have a purpose, I just don't really need to scratch that itch and find space for that purpose.

I went on a binge recently, so I need to freeze myself until I made a dent in my stash again. I accidentally ordered twice as much baby stuff as I needed. I can use the b-sides for other layouts. I only need baby stuff for cards. Our nieces & nephews on DH's side have been having babies. Maybe this year we will get to meet them!

I was doing well until 2 weeks ago! I purchased the new HS carefree line (its beautiful and has a different color scheme) and some new Carta Bella + a 6x8 sb.com album for this year's WITL project. Not sure if I'm making my own kit or buying AEs. Plus I ordered some more distress oxides and restarted a monthly sub. But I did quite a bit of scrapping and started PL2021 and am caught up until last week. Right now my space is packed up for renos so shopping still feels like I'm doing something ðŸ¤

I am 5 pages away from completing my 50 page challenge, but I think I might start another one! I was thinking more in terms of getting a tool anyway, so I might just buy my label maker and then start again. Was watching tv last night and an ad for M's came on, 70% off hot buy paper pads, so that means those 12x12 stacks are likely 5 dollars. I MUST not go to M's. The last thing I need right now is more paper that I bought just because it was cheap.

I don't online browse like I used to these days. I'm chilly, but not frozen. I bought three packs of cardstock to fill in the gaps I made by scrapping just with my stash for so long. I also bought a 1" snowflake punch that I've been wanting for a year. This winter I took lots of snow pics, so I felt justified buying it to pep up snow pages. I still need to buy an album for 2021, but haven't yet. My poor pages are just stacked on the shelf for now.

I’m a big fan of thinking over purchases so I’m sure that punch will be well loved.

I've been on a bit of a scrapbook spending binge so far in 2021. I blame the pandemic for being stuck inside alone every day plus being in a new country and having had to leave most of my stash behind.. BUT I think I need to go on a freeze now. Going to be joining you all in the freezer for the rest of 2021 I think, hope there's some room in there for me!

Still chilling but not frozen. I've bought from Paper Person's monthly releases but skipped the $10 kits from Studio Calico this month because they didn't fit my needs and aesthetic enough. I am considering getting most of Some Days by Pinkfresh for my WITL project in May. Still thinking it over, planning which embellishments I'd use for which everyday life thematics and playing around with the patterns and colours in my head before making the final decision. Welcome to the cool side, emmak! Hope your new life in your new country goes well and you soon have some fun new memories to scrap.

I haven't made anywhere near enough progress on using up the Paige and Shimelle supplies I have, so when I started hearing about Joann's Designer Destination stuff being on sale I had to give myself a good shake. I've been doing some tidying and realized I had more partially finished/half started projects than I realized. More than enough to work with in the small amount of crafty time/energy I have right now.
I also realized I have no interest in making anything scrappy right now, NYTimes says I might be "languishing" (not depressed but not feeling good) so I'm finding it pretty easy to stay chilly.

I am still very chilly. I bought some of the inks from paper person but only 4. I also bought an embellishment pack and 2 12x12 pieces of paper 🤣 my paper person kits have been stacking up and going unused. I have however used up almost all of my last 2 feed your craft kits. Over the next couple of months I’m going to try to kill some paper person. I already planned a bunch of pages with the food kit.

I was very, very good in January and came in under my plan. I was not as strong Feb, Mar, or April. 😲😬 I should frost in May, but not until after iNSD. Then there’s Mother’s Day, so I will probably buy myself a gift for that. Then there’s my birthday. Again, by self presents. So yeah, definitely June will be frosty!
I have been more mindful about the purchases I am making (e.g. I resisted Ali’s digital Story kit and story class sale, even though I was eyeing a LOT), but I need to do more scrapping to clear out some space!
