Well I've shopped the FJ birthday sale, and I placed another order last week for some puffy hearts and stars which I've been burning through this year, so now it's back into the freezer for me. I'd love to stay mostly frozen until the black Friday sales if I can.
If you're still frozen or refrigerated, how are you going?

I did technically spend money on a Kallax drawer insert for my craft room, but am otherwise happily frozen. While I haven't actually scrapbooked I did purge, organize and clean my space.

I placed a pre-order at ACOT with a gift card from my birthday. Other than my FJ kit, that's it. I'm really trying to downsize my stash before we move in the spring.

I’m still not shopping because I’m still overwhelmed by too much to do and not enough time. I got some papers to make cards that my SIL asked for but I don’t think I’ve gotten anything in the past few months besides that. I also haven’t been making much. I just remembered that I got some basic oval dies that I’d had on my wishlist for ages that were discounted. I needed them for a specific project and I used them for that and the project I’m working on now I just thought of another use for them too!

I ordered some paper organizers yesterday but no supplies. To be honest thought, it’s not a stretch since I haven’t really scrapbooked this summer. Plus a couple of weeks ago, I was looking for something and opened a drawer I hadn’t opened in a while and was surprised to find not 3 collections but 5 that were basically untouched. 😬 I need to get busy.

My SS pre-order is out for delivery but I am not counting it because it was ordered pre-freeze!

Been going through all my stuff and it's clear I need to freeze for the next year. I spent several hours organizing my supplies today and I'm nowhere near finished, but it's very clear to me that I need to freeze starting right now. OMG. I have so much stuff.

I’ve been frozen for maybe three weeks for the same reason. I don’t have room for more stuff.

i feel you guys. It's getting crazy. I think it's because I was still buying during the pandemic but not going out as much and scrapbooking pictures of me working from home in my sweatpants isn't really that interesting to documents for this long.

I need to without a doubt, I can't fit much more. I miss the old swaps people use to host on a variety of boards. That was always a way to buy and use! I guess that isn't really a thing anymore.

Yep. I'm only subbed to Paper Person now but will be canceling at the end of the year and going to the freezer.

I had to laugh at this as I feel the same way about my nature pictures. I spend most of 2020-2021 outdoors if I was doing anything and went on lots of walks. While nature pictures are lovely, I am getting tired of scrapbooking trees and plants, and frankly, myself in front of trees and plants, lol.

I had such good intentions for 2021 and have jumped off the no spend wagon with 2 feet and bought the T-shirt on the way out! I picked up complete collections of SB stuff, more inks and stamps that I had to have! Thinking I need to rein it in for 2022!

I'm still frozen. We move around March 1st, so I don't want to spend money or have more to move.

I need to do this. I’m a collector more than a scrapper I have decluttered my entire house, now I am working on ‘decluttering’ projects around my house. I like having WIP that I can pick up as the mood strikes, but I’ve decided I have too many. So the only exceptions to my freeze are items that are absolutely required to finish the WIPs I pick up and if I run out of any basics. Thanks for the motivation!

For those looking for good, cheap adhesive, SSS has Kokuyo LONG Dot Adhesive Runners (not the refills) on sale for $2.99

Do you ever buy some new supply so you can use up the rest of an older supply, but then you have too much left of the new supply so you have to buy more to use it up again and again and again? I just did that with foiling. I had a couple of rolls of foil I inherited/got cheap so I bought the toner sheets to use it up, then had leftover toner sheets so I found myself buying more foil... sigh. Probably should've just given away the original foil that I'd had for 3 years.

I just got very tempted by something that's a "buy it now before it's gone forever!" "almost sold out!" product... asked myself if I can manage without it, decided I definitely can, however cute and fun it is. I think it helped that it was marketed as "creativity in a box" as if creativity is something you buy. Nope. Not going to fall for that!

I was frozen June ish until October, and I plan to be frozen the rest of the year, and hopefully well into 2022. The only thing I do really need isn’t some white cardstock. I made a few purchases in October but I’m happy with what I got, things I really like and wanted!

I went to a crop in October and made a few purchases (mostly the Photoplay gnome calendar kit to make for my niece so that's a gift, right?) Still my October spending was a lot less than September, so I'm calling it a win. I chose not to sign up for a few expensive online events, and I managed to pass up some on sale stamps. I even put a few things on my Christmas list rather than buying them.

I'm still frozen here. I think I'm still traumatized from having to pack up and find new homes for my mom's craft room stuff last Winter. It was too much and nobody needs that much.

That's a lot of work and I don't blame you. I definitely have moments where I look at everything and wonder if anyone will want it. (they won't). I know it's all going in the landfill. So getting serious about cutting back needs to be the priority for me.

I was so tempted by the Kerri Bradford alpha stamp, but held strong. I don't need it!
I also cleaned out my MIL's craft room recently. Even after tossing things, SIL and I taking 3 boxes each, I still donated 3 boxes of card kits from a kit club.
I hate to say I have more stash than she did.

2021 was definitely a buying year for me. Just like all the past years. I’m retiring in 60 days so I have been stashing up for that. It is crazy because I will never run out of anything except adhesive. Not even REMOTELY possible. So 2022 must be a limited buying year. Bring on the 2022 Frozen Pea thread!

I bought a little pile of stuff with a birthday gift card but I was really proud of myself: I spent almost exactly the amount of the card. I bought things specifically to work with things I already own and have trouble using. And I have used most of the things already, within 2 days of being delivered. Small victories!

Bring on the 2022 Frozen Pea thread! I will be back in the freezer for as much of 2022 as I can. I feel like I went a little crazy in the last couple of months buying all the things. I just need some more bookplates to label my albums, and then the next purchase I should need to make will be adhesive.

I have bought some things off eBay and then a warehouse box from Paper Issues. Justify it by saying it is a reward for all the work I put in last few months with major volunteer work.
Other than albums and adhesive and a couple storage items hope 2022 will be mostly frozen to start

I am going to participate in the shop small event at my LSS, and am hopeful I can get good deals and/or the VB Fernwood embellishments. Other than that, nada.
