I know we had a thread on two peas about how many of these cute little suckers everyone had, but now I would like some ideas on how to use them up. I dont have tons of 6x6 pocket page protectors (thou I do use them in the ones I have). I know the layering ala Shimelle is popular...do you use them for that? (Its not really my style thou I have tried it out a few times).
Please help me not just collect my little paper pads!!

I pretty much only use them for cards or 6x6 mini albums, so would love some ideas on how to use them on a 12x12 layout as well.

I just use them for mini albums or cut them up and put the papers in my project life album

Use them for die cuts, on cards, do a mini paper collage behind your photos on a layout, and of course the PL format

I usually cut mine down to use in pocket pages (4x6 or smaller). Nice because then I always have an extra strip to use somewhere else on the page or to punch. Also great for making cards!

On Scrapbook Generation website, there is a class for 6X6 pads. Sketches, pics and the like. It has really been helpful. It is a 2 page LO mostly kind of class but I have gotten great ideas. Scrapbook Generation 6X6 Class

I use mine for layering, punches and die cuts on large layouts. I also use them on mini albums. They're a must-have for me. The scale of the design is smaller.

I currently use mine for taking up a lot of space on my bookshelf and depleting my bank account. I console myself that they take up less space and bank account than 12x12 pads and papers.

My favorite thing to do with 6x6 paper pads is make cards with a "strips on the diagonal" design. Here's a tutorial I put on my blog a while back with step by step instructions. You can make tons of cards from one pad doing it this way and the designs are perfect for it! Link: Step-by-Step Cards from a 6x6 Paper Pad

Cute card Tracie! I mainly use them for cards. But, here is a 12x12 layout I did using an Embellish It kit and one page of a 6x6 pad.

This Pinterest Board has a lot of good ideas for them. I think someone posted it on the old board (feels strange to type that).

;)Hmm, use them?? but they are so cute to collect! I mainly use them in 6x6 albums but I have used them in 8x8 and 12x12 as offsets to the rest of the page.

I have been using them in pocket pages like PL and other locket page albums. They are great for die cutting in the big shot with my small metal dies - I can quickly cut a full page of accents without any waste.

I use them for layering and punching mostly. I have to say, I generally prefer the 8x8 size to 6x6. I like the smaller scale patterns but find that they are often too small in 6x6.

Mini albums, layering on 12x12, cards. I've also made my own PL cards out of them. I have found that if you cut 2 - 6x6 of the same design to 2- 4x6's, then you have the 2" left over from each sheet. I put the 2 - 2" strips of the same PP together and adhere them and I have another 4x6 card that I can use full size or cut down to 4x3.

I like to layer the papers.
If it is possible, I line up the designs (like two 6x6 pages of the same design) so that it looks like a seamless 12x6" piece.
I use my paper punch with it.

I use them for everything. It probably helps that I create nearly all my pages with a white or off-white cardstock, I rarely use PP as my page base.
They are awesome for making die cuts! I even mix the full scale 12x12 papers with the 6x6 of the patterns I REALLY like. Which is only a small amount of what I buy, I've really bought very little 12x12 PP in the last two years.
