Congrats everyone!!! I still have 19 to go, but fell off the wagon big time, not sure why...sad to say but I got the 49th and Market stuff in the mail and while I like it...I am not sure why I HAD to have it right then. Not sure if I should start over, or just call it a one off and keep going. Not gonna lie, kind of disappointed in myself. Don't be too hard on yourself. I know a lot of people are shopping to deal with boredom. Before covid I was never into retail therapy but I have been the past year. I'm not sure if that's the case for you. Just saying if it is, I understand. It sounds like you're scrapping regularly and not just shopping so I'd say you're doing well.

I just found the way to break my freeze and reward my productivity in the last 6 weeks of freeze! IKEA SCRAPBOOK ROOM ORGANIZATION I ordered a wall shelf unit that will fit an awkward space right behind my desk, give me a shelf for my gemini junior (at usable level), 2 baskets (for thickers is my plan) and 2 higher shelves above my kids' computer!!! AND I ordered myself a 3x4 cube Kallax that will replace my 3x3 cube...so 3 extra cubes next to my desk... and my 3x3 cube one will just move to the other side of my desk which is harder access but...album storage baby!!! They offered free shipping today which completely sold me... I was going to go into the store and pick it up today (we only have curbside pick up right now, stores are closed) but they didn't have 2 of the shelf units in stock so delivery made sense. Thursday!!!

Okay friends, guess what?
I'm jumping back in for another fifty layouts, no spending. (Except for adhesive, photos, page protectors, & maybe an album).
Why, you ask?😀
Because I just made household purchases that don't make me want to drop $$$ on hobby stuff.
Anyway, i need to learn to love my stash some more, I think.

I walk into a bookstore to buy my mom a gift certificate and they have scrapbook stuff on a deep clearance. Time to start over. I am now at four.

I’ve seen a couple of YouTube videos recently where they used their stash and scraps. Tag me if you want some links.

Did Ikea have a free shipping code today? I got an email as per their "Ikea Family" rewards program, so no code needed, I just signed into my account. Kinda nice not to have to be loading a heavy box into the back of our sedan! It's the first time I've ever done home delivery from Ikea.

I have a family challenge (moving mom and her hubby into assisted living-this is going to be a hard next few weeks) so I will be out of the loop for the next 3 weeks or so. I think that is why I splurged on all my stuff, stress shopping, not a great excuse, but oh well. After I get them settled and get the house ready to sell, I will just jump back in and do another 50 pages.

I’m very late to this party, I didn’t want to commit to 50 pages since I’m so slow. But man, I have been shopping way too much, so I’m jumping in for 25 before I shop again. I have several half finished layouts and several more in my head. 25 won’t make a dent in my stash, but my wallet needs a break lol. I just want to add that you guys are rocking this! Congrats to those of you that are FREE as grammadee says lol

Well, I fell off the wagon for the PP craft beer and cravings stamps yesterday. Sigh. Six solid weeks of no shopping is a huge accomplishment though, so I'm not going to be too hard on myself. I completed 30 pages before I caved, so I'm going to hop back on and finish the next 20 before I buy anything else.

Okay ladies, I was thinking....
I really, really want to buy the Dollar Tree dies if I find them. And seeing that if I see them once, I may never see them again, so...
I'm allowing myself to buy them if I find them, and I will just add 1 layout more to do per dollar spent.

I'm so proud of myself. I filled a cart at FJ for their sale, did the whole editing until I was happy with it, then couldn't convince myself to hit buy. I just kept thinking of how i would have to restart my count to make up for this purchase, and after leaving the window open for a couple of hours I finally closed it without buying anything.

Great job! Sometimes filling that cart is enough to satisfy the shopping urge and get that hit of dopamine. Then it’s just will power or the rational brain that needs to take over to stop us from hitting buy! Way to stay on track! (I honestly forgot about the sale after seeing the notice, which is good since I would likely be in the same situation.)

That's great! I wish I had done that with my order from scrapbook.com. When I finally got the paper and die cuts, they were nice, but no where near the satisfaction I got from adding them into my cart. I should have just slept on it.

Often happens to me. Think I HAVE to have something, and then when I get it, I'm a little underwhelmed.
I did my post-freeze shopping in person yesterday and came home with stuff I really love. In fact I have already used some of the papers and diecuts, and the stencil, on a page!

I want to shop, but just as a lazy, impulsive, stress reliever. I get so overwhelmed with how much I already have that I haven't used, and I have a small stash compared to most scrappers I know. So I hope I can just keep plodding along, I knew I was in it for a long time when I signed up, I just don't have a lot of time to scrap right now. Hopefully in the meantime, I can find some better coping strategies!
I agree that window shopping is very satisfying. Or going to a website and making a favorites/wish list. I did that today on an art website, and it was fun.

I completed 30 pages before I caved, so I'm going to hop back on and finish the next 20 before I buy anything else. Shopping less is still great! And you're actively scrapping, too! Enjoy your new stamps. I want to shop, but just as a lazy, impulsive, stress reliever. I did that today on an art website, and it was fun. I've done lots of shopping to ease boredom the past year. I totally understand. Lately, when I feel like I want to sit down with my laptop and browse online shops I work on editing pictures or Photosheet them instead of shopping. I ordered a good sized batch of pictures. It's helping right now. I know that when those new pictures come in the mail I'll be excited to use my stash.

I'm still making progress on my count, and am down to 27 pages with another two in various stages of completion on my desk.
I'm trying to keep my cutting and layering and using things up approach. Today's wins included two of Shimelle's 3x4 horizontal PL cards (with the dreaded rounded corners), a MME die cut journaling box from the days when they used to sell them individually, and some camera paper that I'd been fussy cutting but haven't touched in ages which I used as a 4x6 mat.

I am very often underwhelmed once it's in my hands. Maybe because I knew I didn't really need it. I usually convince myself I don't have something similar already in my stash. But as Marty Povich would say "That is a lie!" I want to shop, but just as a lazy, impulsive, stress reliever. I get so overwhelmed with how much I already have that I haven't used, and I have a small stash compared to most scrappers I know. This is me to a T! My stash is a medium size I would say, but it gets overwhelming to me, and I'm outgrowing the space for it all. I'll plod along with you , I'm a slow scrapper and 25 pages might take me the rest of the year lol. I'm one down so far lol.
I have several packages coming, but I believe they have all been delayed in TX. Off the top of my head I can only think of one punch I want to put to use immediately, and maybe I will use the rest as my reward shopping. I'm signed up for We Create - hopefully it happens - I would really like to not shop again until then, which is September. If I recall correctly, the past couple years the iNSD sales weren't that great so maybe it won't be too hard to pass on that.
ETA: That was my first time trying to multi quote, and I obviously don't have the hang of it lol.

I'm officially over the half way mark, with 24 layouts left to go. I used up a bunch of random icons on my latest page for challenge 22 on 28-4-22, including a couple of ancient Sassafrass rub ons that worked so much better than I could have possibly imagined.
How is everyone else tracking?

Good going gals! I love this thread.
I just threw two layouts together. Just now.
I haven't been able to scrap lately because of work, lack of mojo, etc, but figured, what the heck, I'd sit down and tackle something, anything.
I did two October pages.
Funny, October gave me great pics because the autumn colors. But then the photos are "too good" and I keep skipping them because I don't know if I can do them justice.
First page, the kids painting and/or carving pumpkins. I used a pp sheet from a neglected pad, sparkly pumpkin stickers, and two stamped cardstock journaling spots, one of which I stamped the title on. Very photo centric, but looks neat & is done.
Second page is also October. Two kids playing on the swings at the playground. I used a cardstock background, then Echo Park ephemera (imagine that! boy) for layers, clusters, and the title (PLAY banner pieces). Then sprinkled with enamel dots. Really like how it turned out, and was glad to use some embellishments that I had barely used yet.

Third page today done! Another October layout, this one titled "Fall Colors." Used a pp sheet from another neglected pad as the background. Used a paper punch, a stamped journaling spot, enamel dots, and die cut the title. Haven't done that in a hot minute!
Total so far: 3/50

Yesterday I made one more layout. I used my very last sheet of Basic Grey.
My total: 4/50 Pt two.

LavenderLayoutLady that's awesome to use the very last of something! I'm 3 down, 22 to go to meet my small goal of 25. I'm hoping to make a dent in my numbers this month during the crop weekend. @chinagirl28, it looks like quite a few are using tickers to keep track, I'm just keeping track in my head. And not putting pages into the albums until I've met the goal. I love having a stack of finished layouts to put into albums.

I'm still frozen but haven't made any new layouts. I've been spending a lot of time on Stacy Julian's Photo Freedom 2021 class, which involves a lot of photo organization.
