I put some words on the outside of divided page protectors on a 2 page spread. I used acrylic stamps, a wood stamp, a metal die, chipboard, a roller stamp, and the word 'friends' cut from a piece of pattern paper. It didn't take long, so I'm going to count this as.. 1/50.
I do feel good about the variety of products I used!

I am still chipping away at this, 23 left! I think I will do this again, but my # will be like 20 or something because it has helped me keep stash growth under control, but I have really wanted to shop sometimes, too. LOL Most recent layout using new goodies I did get as a Mother's Day gift, of my Mom:

I've been on a bit of a shopping rampage, but am going to dial it back for the summer and really work on getting some LO done. I have a lot of photos of California, so I picked up a Citrus Twist album to scrapbook those pictures. I am really excited about it! I've reset my 50, and now I am 2/50.
48 to go!

Ok, I fell off the wagon a bit with the AE sale, but I’m officially starting round 2 of no/low spend for June (except for subs) and hopefully through 50 pages.
How’s everyone else doing?

I've fallen off the wagon a couple of times, but I'm trying again. I'm giving myself a pass to pre-order the new cocoa vanilla collection but other than that I'm trying to stay shopping free. I have definitely bought less this year than prior years, and have realised I actually can still make pages I love with a smaller stash. I'd like to keep up the limited shopping for all of this year if I can, especially if I keep creating at my current rate.

I won't be terribly far in front of you vexedangel. I'm aiming to get my 50 done by the time FJ does her birthday sale in late August, which works out to 3-4 layouts a week. I think that is achievable, and I'm hoping having a deadline in mind will encourage me to stay away from the shopping. I did well this weekend, an online lss is having their end of financial year sale this weekend but despite adding several things to my cart, I closed all the windows down and have no interest in reopening them.

Anyone else still frozen? I have 12 more projects left, will get at least 6 done this month for challenges I'm in on another board, then 6 in august, so definitely will be done in time for the SG event in September, but I'm always hopeful I'll finish sooner. LOL. I've allowed myself Mother's Day then birthday scrapbooking gifts, which helped a little, but man, I still have *so* many new things in packages that I haven't used that I bought while pandemic stress shopping last year...It really isn't a bad idea for me to freeze again after We Create!

I fell off the wagon hard - a few times I also haven't really scrapbooked since December. However, I am picking up the challenge, and will be updating my page numbers shortly. I'm not sure about the no - buy, but I am going to try and complete my first set of 50 layouts by the end of July, if not sooner. *Fingers crossed*!

I'm still frozen and trying to hit my goal for the third time after falling off the wagon twice already. I'm about half way through this time.
Even if I don't make 50 layouts before I shop again, I'm really happy with the shift in mindset this has given me. I've spent a lot of the last couple of years adding more to my stash than I probably should have, but I've really cut my spending down and have made a dent in some of my supplies this year.

I like this idea. Freezing before We Create hasn’t worked out so well for me, so maybe I’ll have better luck (willpower) after.

The no-spend isn’t working so well for me, but I do want to push to get some projects completed and scrap more instead of scrolling. 50 pages by We Create seems doable. I’m at 13 right now.

Is anyone else still frozen? I'm still working on my 50 layouts, and am down to 4 to go. I placed an order with sb.com last week for my birthday so my goal is to get the last four pages done before that order gets delivered. This is probably the one time I'm glad for the postal delays

And bought many sticker packs at Dollar Tree. I feel my buy to use ratio is really good. And since crafting is the only thing keeping me sane, I'll allow it. I have plans to buy more zoo paper & embellishments when it comes out. And Christmas. And maybe a sheet or two of Halloween.

This is probably the one time I'm glad for the postal delays I fell off the wagon - hard - after my 2nd 50. But thanks for the reminder because I have just recently made several orders and now I need to get creating! The industry has created a wonderful FOMO culture, which is partly for real because if you wait a couple of months to order a collection you really like, you will end up missing out on a few pieces for sure. But the question I have to ask myself is: do I need every collection I really like???

I feel my buy to use ratio is really good. This has actually been the biggest thing I've been trying to work on, especially since before this year my buying was way higher than my creating. Congrats on getting the balance right and continuing to enjoy adding new things to your stash. But the question I have to ask myself is: do I need every collection I really like??? This is absolutely what got me, along with seeing all the pages made with those products which makes me feel like I need the new stuff. Thanks to this challenge I've gotten better about really looking at a collection and trying to work out why I like it, and seeing if I have something similar already in my stash. I've never really been a full collection shopper, so often one or two pieces from the collection will be enough to satisfy my need to have it all.

Maybe after We Create I’ll try to freeze again.

And I am done! It took me three attempts to get through 50 layouts, and I'm so glad to be done. I've definitely made a dent in some of my supplies, although not nearly as large as I'd have liked, which is a huge eye opener for just how many layouts I need to make to actually use up my stash, and hopefully something I'll keep in mind when I'm shopping.

That is HUGE! I was doing good until I heard about the AC warehouse sale. I felt good about my restraint though.
Once again I am starting over, BUT I found my SCAL CD to download on my laptop and hook up to my Cricut. I have bought some basic Disney stuff for my daughter and husband's trip. I'm waiting until they get back to possibly buy more things, but I think I'll be fine.
