Haven't even gotten to the adhesive part yet, but while digging through scraps, found 3 papers that will work for current layout, 2 scraps (BG: one orange pattern, one purple pattern) for Halloween layouts that I need to do, and a Thor themed paper scrap that I will take a pic for (ds got Thor hammer for xmas).
Okay, still excited!π

Just finished one layout about virtual school. Used 1 full sheet cs, 3 pp scraps, matted 3 pics, one Thicker letter (initial), paper punched stars, pop dotted them, die cut a label shape, punched a hexagon, used a stamped journaling spot (cut in half, tucked behind two pics), and several enamel dots. Journaled by hand.
4 done, 46 layouts to go!
(Am I the only one with a Post It above their desk making tally marks for the 50 Layout Challenge?)π

Just finished two more layouts.
First one has two pics, each of a different kid sleeping on the couch. I used four different pp from a paper pad, layering heavily so that each pattern is visible on the top & left sides only, except for the "top" pp, which was light blue with soft clouds and lullaby music notes. Then used SIX "z" Thickers, to mimic sleeping sounds. The two pics are on the top pp, and each have the subject's first initial on them (Thickers again).
Second layout is of my oldest child, an autumn selfie highlighting her new fall make up look. I used an autumn ColorPop postcard (that came in her makeup order), and two freebie fall cut apart cards, one I left as is, one I made into a circle with a punch. Then I used punched flowers, tiny Prima flowers (the kind that came in milk bottles), enamel dots, and Stickles to create three distinct clusters. Also used a chipboard letter (initial).
So....
6 Layouts done, 44 until goal!

I finished a double page which I shared in the Jan share thread. For some reason I feel like I use more supplies on single pages than on doubles so I'm thrilled to have used four sheets of older patterned paper (two BG and two Scenic Route) and some older enamel dots that I find difficult to use.
46 pages to go!

I finished two more today, one using a paper I bought specifically for the photos but then I added in some scraps that were left on my desk from my previous layout, then I finished three sides of pocket pages and used roughly half a set of rubons in the process, which leaves me with 44 pages to go. I'm feeling good about what I've achieved so far and using supplies liberally.

Chinagirl828linda Way to go, both of you!! And YES! on using supplies liberally. I'm also feeling like I don't have to keep every single scrap, especially if they come from those big discounted paper pads. Very liberating! I think this challenge may change the way I buy supplies from now on. It is, dare I say, difficult to use a whole lot of product on one layout. And so many supplies come in big pads and packages. Those two things make making a real dent in my stash difficult. And that's my goal. I want to use up.

Thank you LavenderLayoutLadyYes- not saving every scrap - I'm getting better at tossing scraps although I do save bigger ones. And yes, I primarily use paper and cardstock on my layouts and I'm trying to be more conscious about overbuying embellishments - and paper because I don't use a ton of it either, more cardstock. And I have enough PP and cardstock to scrap a long, long time... one more layout done - used part of a piece of PP, another scrap of PP, a scrap of cardstock, and a full sheet of cardstock. I fussy cut embellishments from a PP scrap. I have one more layout in mind for the last scraps of this dog themed PP and then whatever is left is leaving - we don't HAVE dogs and I just have the three layouts worth of pics of our friend's dogs. I have childhood pics of dogs but I'm not scrapping those anytime soon.

So far today I have started a layout about a rainbow my kids & I saw in August. It had been a looooong time since I saw one. My background is a doodled cloud light aqua pattern, then I have a wide strip of pp that is reminiscent of a rainbow, but is geometric. Then i matted the three pics (two of just the rainbow, one of the kids with it in the sky. Honestly not amazing pics, but the best I could get when rainbows only last for a couple minutes and I was scrambling). It's not done yet.
Next I'm starting to tackle scrapping our household members only Halloween party that we had instead of TOT. I printed a ton of pics, and thankfully used Photosheet to make lots small. I'm using divided protectors to capture it all. So far I have all the pics in the pockets. Next I'll start cutting paper.

well done LavenderLayoutLady - I'm working on Halloween also. DH bought me an Authentique October pack at TM a while back and I've pulled it out to see how much of it I can get used. Just finished a double page layout from the pumpkin patch - have a second one to go and the our Halloween party (like you we did a household only party in lieu of TorT). 2 full sheets of PP and some cut-aparts used plus 3 full and 1 partial cardstock and a cardstock sticker from an EP kit

linda Great job! Halloween is hard for me to scrap. I don't know if I'm worried about failing the photos, or what, but I always procrastinate. This afternoon I finished two sides of the divided protectors, so I'm counting it as two pages. I have all the photos in the pockets I want them, and I'm pretty limited to the Halloween pp I have (just 1 sheet). I'm also using pp scraps of orange & purple. And I have 3 sheets of Halloween stickers to draw from. 8 Layouts done, 42 to goal!

LavenderLayoutLady - 2 sides definitely equals two pages. Sounds like you're doing a great job on Halloween despite it being hard. I've gotten one more done - also from the pumpkin patch. And one more of our new inflatable kitty decoration.

I haven't bought anything but I did have an uh-oh moment today when I realised I don't have an empty album for my 2021 pages. I thought I still had spare albums stashed away but was clearly wrong. I was mentally prepared to not buy anything except adhesive so there's a part of me that doesn't want to cave so early for an album, but I also put layouts into albums as I create them. I still have a few pages left to make for my 2020 album so I have a little bit of time to decide whether to buy one before I reach my goal.

linda Awesome getting another pumpkin patch layout done! Autumn layouts are so much fun! I still have pumpkin painting/carving pics to scrap that I'm looking forward to. Chinagirl828 Albums are easily counted as essential, especially if it would hinder your progress to not have one. I realized that I need new albums this year too. One to start 2021, one for my youngest's school album. I'm trying to hold out until I hit my 50 layouts done goal, though we'll see. Right now those albums are on my list to buy after goal.

Albums are easily an essential product. I will need a new one soon too and donβt feel it goes against the freeze.

Just some random thoughts this am...I've done 13 pages and there is no dent that I can see at all in supplies. I cannot think of a single category (birthday, space, home, holidays, you name it...etc...) that I don't have enough supplies to make 50 pages. I am trying not to let this freak me out. I guess I wasn't expecting this challenge to show me how much stuff I had. That said, I went looking through my paper for paper with hearts on it, for some more valentine's, and I have exactly 2 sheets of heart paper in all that craziness, lol. I guess this shows me that I need to be even more picky in my purchases, and also that I need to make sure of what I own before I buy more. (How much star paper can one person every use, anyway??? lol...)

LavenderLayoutLady, you have been on FIRE! Isn't it wonderful when time and mojo and opportunity all occur at the same time? Chinagirl828, I would definitely support that the purchase of an album is essential, and therefore outside the scope of this challenge. Linda, I like the way you purge for a move. Hmmm... I have all these scrapbook supplies.... Might as well use them, then. Have found a sketch I think I can use for a photo of my kids from 14 years ago. Found a bunch of these while cleaning before Christmas, and while I have already scrapped some (the Christmas themed ones), there are still a few more to go. The only "recent" photo I have from the 4 of them together is from our 50th in 2018. I may scrap that one again to face this page. Don't know. But not today.

I live for options, and when that ziploc is empty, that is one more option that is shut off to me. Never mind that I still HAVE those papers I love--on the pages in my albums--but it feels somehow I am losing something when I empty that bag.

I am now up to 11 completed layouts out of 50. There is no way I even made the smallest dent in my stash. I have a room full of supplies... so maybe after 1000 layouts, I might notice? Maybe? Ha... maybe not, LOL. Here is my latest layout: http://instagram.com/p/CJ62mUogQla

Never mind that I still HAVE those papers I love--on the pages in my albums--but it feels somehow I am losing something when I empty that bag. I like options but too many options is overwhelming to me - and my stash is currently a little TOO big. I like using stuff up because it means I can buy something new and exciting but also, I've used those things, they are in my album or on a card, not just buried in my stash. We're all different aren't we? Finished another double page layout - our halloween party 2020. Still have more papers in the Authentique October pack so went hunting for photos - found some costume parade on horseback from Oct 2015 that I'm working on now -it'll be another double page layout. Hoping to get another page or two done before I turn the leftovers into cards. AND - I need to NOT buy Halloween or Fall themed anything for a while. I'm running out of photos NOT supplies. I love halloween and fall papers though...

Made another single tonight. 42 to go.
But the sentiment stamps and dies I was waiting on The Ton to restock since November showed up yesterday. π«π«π« DH told me I should get them before they sell out again and just not play with them until I've done my 50 pages, but IDK. That kinda seems ok and kinda seems like cheating.

Or do what I did with the store closing sale...buy and add 50 to the counter.

final layout with the Authentique October pack - another double page layout. That makes eight pages (five layouts) from the pack. I'm switching to cards now - I'll make postcards to send the nursing home in October...let's see how close I can get to 60 (number of beds)

22 postcards so far - there is still paper and embellishments (cutaparts) left so I'll make some more tomorrow. I decided to count cards separately
