Hi Everyone,
I am right now (attempting) to scrap a few photos that are quite yellow / orange - due to the photograph being taken in the evening indoors with low light.
Can anyone recommend a colour that I should work with to make these photos look better once scrapbooked? I've already tossed two potential layouts, and the colour schemes were just not working for me... Or should I just reprint the photos in black and white?
Thanks so much for your help / advice.

Without seeing the photo, it's hard to say, but my inclination would be to play up the colors in the background. Dark blues or blacks or grays or browns or whatever is in there, and accent with more of that yellow and orange.

Not what you were asking but if you ever have a similar issue in the future, just colour correct the photos using the appropriate filters in a phone app or adjusting the temperature/fixing the white balance in an editing software. You'll want to cool the photos enough so the yellow tints aren't dominating. You definitely don't have to go black and white to make such photos work.

i agree with the white balance suggestion. i would scan the photo and see if the white balance can be adjusted that way.

I agree with reprinting after editing the picture. If you'd rather not do that I'd go with lots of white and softer, neutral tones to brighten and whiten the overall look.
