I'm slow - I'm not following how you're using the cheap plastic cutting boards. Please share - I love hearing about new organization tips - and ways to use non-crafty items in my craft-room :-) Happy 2021 and thanks for always starting a TM thread Here is the picture of the way I use the cutting boards. They are just 2 x 14 pieces with a clear label on the end. They identify the name of the paper collection or type of paper. I have five of these sections in my scrap room, so they make it easier to find what I need. frenchieView Attachment Thank you, 950nancy! Love this idea! Gonna try to find these today.

Went today and caved on the heart punch I was not going to buy. It has 6 different sizes of hearts on it. I couldn't find it cheaper anywhere else.

Made it to TM today and after it had been so bare on my last couple trips, the 12x12 paper section was fully stocked back to a pre-pandemic level! They had a ton of the Bazzill packs of 25 for $4.99 in good, mostly bright colors (I just grabbed Artesian Pool and Ocean Breeze) and must have had at least 50 of the packs with not too many duplicates in colors. Still a bunch of overpriced Authentique and now lots of Echo Park and Simply Stories. I found a collection pack of Kaiserkraft Native Breeze for $4.99 plus 2 different packs of the pack of 10 of the same from that collection for $3.99. Thought that was reasonable when I looked it up on scrapbook.com although wish they would have had the die cut pack, I may need to order that to go with it.
My favorite find was a Mama Elephant stamp and die set called Up We Go for $4.99. Don't think this was a great deal, since I believe these were available at Michaels (?) but not something I've seen there.
Still very slim offerings in stamps, dies and didn't see anything Tim Holtz (this store would get a steady supply of it pre-pandemic) so hope that improves eventually, too.

Nothing new again this week. A clerk reported the store received a small delivery with no crafts. Went today and caved on the heart punch I was not going to buy. It has 6 different sizes of hearts on it. I couldn't find it cheaper anywhere else. Glad you were able to snag it! I've not seen punches in stores here in almost a year. Hoping deliveries will return to pre-pandemic levels after annual inventory...

Went today and there was maybe 1/3 of a cart. It had mostly dies from about 4-5 different companies. There were also some Crafter's Companion large stamp sets with card sentiments. I walked out empty-handed. Went to Sonic across the street to get a breakfast burrito. Felt better.

I actually couldn't even identify anything new this week or last and because of the price hike, most of the SS is still sitting there...something that wouldn't have ever happened in the past.

We have three full hanging racks of the Karen Foster paper. I organized the non pad paper two weeks ago (9) hanging racks, and maybe a total of 3 inches of it had been sold in the last 2 weeks. I can see much of it going to clearance in a few months. They have pushed up their price points too high, I believe. (And added all of that very specific kF paper... who needs 25 of thin, braces paper?) I do like that our manager leaves the cart/s right in the middle of the aisle for the first 3-4 days so we can go through all of the new stuff.

I went yesterday (1/15) and it was so sad Bare bones and still empty shelves. This use to be one of the top stores. I still visit if I happen to be in the area but I don’t make a special trip anymore. Hope maybe this year they can get back on track, it was always so fun to pop in and see what was new.

Just wanted to say thank you to all who are reporting on what they are seeing (or not) in their stores! I have only made one mad dash into TM in the last 4 or so months (it was bleak, and the prices were too high!), so it is so helpful to know what might be there.
I hope they are able to figure out a different system than those packs of paper for $4.99, and bundling that makes financial sense to purchase. It was cheaper to purchase exactly what I wanted at SB.com than a bundle that had 30% of things I would never use. I was excited to see the 10-packs of EP/CB sticker sheets--until I saw the price. $14.99?! Many of us have some already, so unless you want every last sheet, or want to buy old lines, that didn't make sense to buy either.

Many of us have some already, so unless you want every last sheet, or want to buy old lines, that didn't make sense to buy either. Echo Park often has the sticker sheets for $1 at the expos. I have a feeling that some of their new bundles are to move stock that they can't easily sell otherwise while expos aren't happening. I have most of the stickers from the collection packs of any that would have interested me. TM isn't feeling like much of a deal anymore. It's a good thing that I have better restraint than I used to because I've walked away from most stuff. Even the Simple Stories stuff that usually flew off the shelves is mostly still sitting there since it all nearly doubled in price from their last kits in September/October last year. Would love to support them, but not if it means my money doesn't go as far...nothing I buy there is anything I need, so as much as I don't want them to close due to declining business, I also can't support the near doubling of prices either.

950nancy, the discussion about the cutting mats got me thinking...do you think they could be cut in a Cameo machine? I've been wanting to make some stencils with my Cameo but haven't bought the stencil material yet. This could be a good way to try it out without committing to a full roll. I'm guessing you could if you can get the settings right, I cut mask extenders out of the cutting mats with my scan and cut without an issue I just had to play around a bit with the blade and pressure settings.

This does make a lot of sense. My LSS sells these sheets for $3.50 each. Way too much, but so is $14.99 if you won't use half of the stickers. I generally buy the EP packs from their sales and get the 12 paper pack and sticker sheet for $5, so I already have many of these stickers already. I could see people buying them and splitting them at $7.99-$9.99 a pack. I think when the merchandise for December/January goes to clearance, they are going to have a lot of craft paper in that grouping.

The only noticeably new items this week are Echo Park Mega Bundles for $14.99 (e.g. Just Married, Have Faith, Good Day Sunshine, Sweet Baby Boy/Girl). IIRC the Mega Bundles contain patterned papers, sticker sheets, & coordinating cardstock (no chipboard, enamel dots, or embellishment packs). ETA: Per 950nancy (see her posts below), these are called “Megapacks” & contain 12 patterned papers, 1 sticker sheet, 2 diecut sheets, & 6 sheets of coordinating cardstock. ETA2: I stopped by a different TM location today, noticed these stocked in more lines (eg Practically Perfect, Toy Box, Baseball, Home Again), & snapped a photo of the contents to send to a friend whose store hasn’t received these yet. Note the ones in stores here are labeled as Mega Bundle (not Megapack, although the contents appear the same) & each contain 150 pieces: -(12) 12x12 double-sided sheets of patterned paper, including cover -(6) 12x12 double-sided solids papers -(2) ephemera die-cut sheets -(1) 12x12 element sticker sheet

Went today a little after lunch. The manager said they both (2 stores in town) got huge trucks and didn't share a truck this time. He said there are still a ton of boxes to unload. So that is a good thing.

Bought the Echo Park Baseball line today in the "Megapack." The megapack isn't very mega. It had the 12 papers and stickers. It also had 6 matching cardstock colors and two sheets of ephemera. The two sheets equals about one pack of ephemera you'd get with most lines. I do have about 16 more seasons (2 boys) of baseball to scrap, so I knew it wouldn't go to waste and buying that paper with the embellishments/stickers individually for a few seasons would have cost more than that, so I bought it without much regret. I really wanted the Toy Box line, but I already have 2- 6 x 6 pads of paper, a few 12 x 12s, and ephemera and brads already, so it didn't seem like a good idea. I'll just have to pull out my sketches for 6 x 6 pads.

I really think the buyer who purchased all of the 10 year old papers (25 packs of Karen Foster) needs to be educated a bit more in his/her buying choices. The paper is very thin, very specific, and the colors are not what most people want in 2021. Then charging $15 for 18 sheets of paper, some ephemera and stickers will find out that much of it is going to end up in clearance and selling for 40-60% off. The good news is I am saving more money in 2021. Well, saving more at Tuesday Morning.

950nancy - Thanks for the clarification; I edited my post upthread. A friend reports that she purchased a couple of the Megapacks at TM to supplement 6x6 paper pads &/or embellishments & was disappointed to discover the paper weight/texture/colors in the Megapacks don't match her existing supplies from the same collections!

I just checked my paper and it seems pretty close in weight. I do like the two sheets of punch outs. They aren't very thick, but there are a ton of them and I can use them with other baseball lines I have. I don't have the same line to compare it too, but good to know about your friend's experience since I really wanted to buy the Toy Box pack but not having it match would be no good.

Their buyer seems out of touch with how people might want to buy these crafts supplies, how "current" they are, and the regular prices you can get them for. So, I was at TM today. The Baseball megapack seemed liked the best if you are scrapping baseball (I like those illustrations too). These megapacks have a limited audience though I think. You really need to be scrapping a LOT of one thing (and not have bought a lot previously), to want so much from one collection. I really didn't see anything that hasn't been posted here. I saw things I liked, but not for the price of buying a volume of it.

Today's trip was a bust. They had even MORE Karen Foster packs. One pack was just 25 sheets of curling. Yes, curling. Had to giggle. My boys love to watch that sport, but I would never use it for a layout. They had a bunch of pens and markers and journals. They even had children's books in the craft aisle, but there was nothing I needed. I did pick up a few packs of Tim Holtz dies for $8..99, but put them down. I do not need more dies. They also had about a dozen more packs of Bazzill paper 25 of the same color.
ETA: Usually the nine paper holders that hold all of the small packs of paper get smaller each week. Today they were still as stuffed as they have been the last 4 weeks. No one seems to be buying the pricier packs of paper. They should have increased prices gradually and not BAM! here's double the price.

Someone is definitely out of touch as far as the products and prices go. Whether or not it is the buyers or a result of the bankruptcy demands, it does not sound encouraging for the future of Tuesday Morning.
I stopped shopping at TM before Thanksgiving, and I really don’t feel that I have missed anything important. I thought that watching this thread would lead to temptation, but really, it’s been just the opposite. I honestly don’t feel any desire to shop there after reading about the higher prices and types of papers and products they have been trying to sell. Thanks!

Although a clerk indicated each store in our area received two trucks this week, the most notable addition to the craft aisle in the two stores I visited is more paper holders! The stacks of paper that had previously overflowed onto nearby shelves are now neatly organized. The rest of the craft aisles in both stores are relatively sparse with items that have been lurking for months, various marker sets, a couple Doodlebug rub-on bundles, & random Kaisercraft dies.

I had to go to my ACE Hardware which is in the same plaza as Tuesday Morning and JoAnns. I managed to get the chalkboard paint and supplies I needed (plus sunglasses and a soda fo my son) at ACE. I somehow (maybe it was having a 9yo with me but maybe it was self control) managed to avoid Tuesday Morning. My 9yo probably guided me in and out of Ace with no interest in TM or JA. Plus, I have no craft needs from TM or JA.

Stopped in today just to see if anything caught my eye.
I considered getting a few of the 48 packs of Echo Park cardstock, but decided against it. My store also had the 25 pack of Bazzill paper, but none in the colors I've been eyeing.
I also toyed with the idea of getting some Brea Reese markers, but those went back as well.
There were lots of Echo Park sets, mostly duplicates. Nothing I had to have, so I walked out empty-handed and went on with my day.
