For what it's worth.... I am a fan of the C bomb, and use the word often IRL - with the right audience. But I object to calling snowsilver that. She is my polar opposite in just about every way, but I don't think she deserves to be called that. Of all the conservative Peas on this board, I don't know why she was singled out for that.
And as for what is going on at the Capitol..... I am stunned beyond belief. I knew there was a chance it would happen, but I had high hopes that it wouldn't. And now the man who encouraged and INCITED this treasonous behaviour is supposedly calling for calm. Now there's a cunt.

I don’t think that is the problem, but OP asked sincerely for a conversation and it won’t happen if those from the other side don’t participate. My opinion: The only thing that will satisfy me is of the assholes who voted for trump show up and say, “I am sorry. I fucked up” The reason no one is showing up to have a conversation is because they still think they are right and that somehow the asshole orangedick will be President on Jan 20th and Biden will just go home. I pity their stupidity. PS: If my language offends then I am NOT sorry. Your language doesn’t offend me and I’m just as incensed as you. I also agree that they likely will not show up. But if there was any possibility of that I feel the attack squashed it (I’m not hand-slapping, I have been guilty of this many times), and I really would have liked for there to have been a conversation.. |

I can understand the hurt and anger over what’s happened today, but I don’t think dragging this thread down with offensive language helps matters . Let’s not drop to the standards of the thugs we’ve been witnessing today.
I’m sure there must be decent people who also voted for Trump, but whom are also horrified by what they’ve witnessed today.
