I have a new set of dies. All of the small ones cut beautifully. The large one cuts perfectly around the outer edges, but not in the center. I have tried using paper shims, as well as using the die to cut foil, thinking it was that the die wasn’t sharp enough. I’m still having issues. Any thoughts on how I could fix this?

View AttachmentIf this happens I usually just take some painter's tape and build up 1 or 2 layers just where you have trouble. Sometimes the die is not flat or the cutting part its shorter so the middle doesn't get enough pressure. I hope this helps

I've tried 2 extra sheets of paper, as well as a piece of thin chipboard. Still not luck.

This happens to intricate dies or even happened to one of my dies I used over and over the blade gets dull I guess.

Finally got one almost perfect. It will be hard to get it exactly right every time, but I'll try!

Natasha Foit recommends using a piece of thin foam packing material under the die, which I found helpful with one of my cheap dies.
