In a newly unsealed grand jury indictment, prosecutors charged MAGA rioter Jenny Cudd of Midland, Texas with corruptly obstructing an official proceeding of Congress; entering and remaining in a restricted building; committing disorderly or disruptive conduct in a restricted building; committing disorderly conduct in a Capitol building; and parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a Capitol building. I was just coming to share this. They are actually letting her go. You can bet that if she was a POC, her ass would be in jail with no bail, let alone be allowed to go to Mexico on vacation. I am sickened. |

I think that this, from the article that schizo319 linked, is interesting and relevant to the discussion about a portion of the insurrectionists feeling disenfranchised/powerless: It appears that Ryan was still trying to pay off a lien for $37,000 for unpaid taxes when she was arrested. Also, that they are trying to overturn the party who is trying to help them not get into these problems in the first place through safety nets and health insurance. |

If so many of the rioters had financial problems, what the heck were they doing taking time away to travel to DC, stay in a hotel, eat, buy souvenirs and then travel home? Money well spent if you ask me./s.  When I am low on cash I stay home. |
