But...
As noted in the tweet it might be nothing. Or?

Because when the country is reeling from an attempted coup that resulted in deaths, the appropriate thing for Trump to do is award the Medal of Freedom to a football coach that has been accused of cheating and also connected with a Florida “massage parlor” scandal. 😳 Belichick isn't the massage parlor guy - that's the owner of the Pats, Kraft. IDK just trying to keep the hope alive. LOL
Also, is there any benefit of him resigning now in case all this shit goes down that they are warning against? Because you know if it benefits him he will do it. I am not evil enough of trying to figure out if there is angle that would make this great for him, so great, never been done before great.

I guess if he resigns then he can't be impeached and lose his post presidency perks. Damn. We could use that money for any number of better things. even if he resigns, they can still impeach, if they choose to. |

So...if you were able to bargain, would you make a deal with him to give up impeachment if he resigns today? Would you give him a pardon if he resigns today? I wonder if Pence has already had these conversations.

My husband saw this as well. We are guessing that it is a glitch that will be corrected quickly. Trump decided yesterday to award Bill Belichick the Medal of Freedom, and I’m sure he won’t leave office before bestowing such a well-deserved honor (heavy on the sarcasm). How tone deaf does Belichick have to be to actually agree to accept that this week. Read the room idiot. |

It hurts for me to give the guy credit for something, but these are desperate times. He earned some respect, on a day when GOP lawmakers can’t even live up to Belichick’s example. |
