that he is going to release a video tonight.
He won’t step in front of the podium in the White House press office room. He will release a video with no chance of questions for him to answer, nor sound of public response (gasps, heckles).
No one knows yet how this video will be aired, because he doesn’t have social media. I’m placing my money on FOX News.

I heard at a game last night that he supposedly made a video and released it. Some were questioning if he was really involved in making it. I removed fb but even if I downloaded it again it wouldn't matter because I have removed all the nutters. Does anyone else know anything about it? Is this the same video that they were watching last night?

They seem fairly certain that it will be in response to now being impeached for a second time. |

My initial thought last night from what I was hearing was that it was one of these fb loons that posts about the uprising that is coming. Video means it can have multiple takes, be heavily edited and minimizes his opportunities to go off on a rant.
It is more than him not wanting to face the public because if he could talk to a room full of cheering fans he would. It is as much about his handlers trying to do damage control IMHO.
At least with a video all news outlets can watch first and then decide if it's worth airing.

I don’t know if it is because a coward or someone that actually has influence over him is so worried he will spew crap that could be used against him in the impeachment trial they convinced him this is the best route for him.
I am not at all surprised. I agree it is because it can have multiple takes and be cobbled together if necessary.

Well who would have thought that the president of the USA could actually get a message out without Twitter - it's a miracle!
I just watched it - right from the start it was obvious he had nothing to do with what he was reading out, the speech was clearly written by someone else and he's clearly reading the teleprompter.
So really, it has no meaning or value at all.
Then when he says 'covid-19' and not 'China virus' you know he's either been drugged or there's a cattle pod under the desk that will shock him if he doesn't read it as written.
He thinks there was an "unprecedented assault on [his] free speech"
"all of us can choose by our actions to rise about the rancor and find common ground & shared purpose"...omg, I think I wet myself a little with laugher that those words came out of that fool's mouth.
Still no concession, still no acknowledgement of Biden as the President.
I hope that's the last time we'll ever have a speech from him.

Exactly. We watched it on the ABC World News broadcast. His lawyers and other handlers are thanking the heavens that he is banned from social media because he can’t negate that with a flurry of tweets within a couple of hours like he always does. It won’t be enough to completely exonerate him, but it may help staunch some of the hemorrhaging as long as they continue to cut off all other modes of communication. |
