I don’t know why any of his lackey supporters think that he won’t turn on them.
Trump has instructed aides not to pay Giuliani's legal fees, two officials said, and has demanded that he personally approve any reimbursements for the expenses Giuliani incurred while traveling on the president's behalf to challenge election results in key states. They said Trump has privately expressed concern with some of Giuliani's moves and did not appreciate a demand from Giuliani for $20,000 a day in fees for his work attempting to overturn the election. [The Washington Post]
Trump was "offended" by Giuliani's $20,000-a-day request "and told aides not to pay him at all," the Times confirms, adding that Giuliani denied making that request but it "was in writing." And "White House officials have started blocking Mr. Giuliani's calls to the president," the Times adds, citing a Trump adviser. Read more about Trump's deteriorating relationships and shrinking circle of allies at The Washington Post and The New York Times.

The writing has been on the wall for some time —-decades on how trump does business.
There shouldn’t have been any surprises there.
And it’s probably an issue now because supporter/donors are cutting off the money flow.

I love this story. I absolutely freaking love this story. Giuliani was in it for the money, that's obvious. So now he has thrown away his reputation and legacy as "America's Mayor" for absolutely nothing. He sold his soul to the devil and the devil shafted him.

Really?!? That seems particularly unwise (not that that man has ever been any semblance of wise in the first place) given that Rudi probably has ALL the goods...
Is he thinking that Rudi won't talk because of attorney/client privilege? Because I'm frankly not see ANY incentive for RG to adhere to that. He has plenty of money, he doesn't NEED to work, his political "career" is in the tank - what does he have left to lose if he throws attorney-client privilege out the window?

Total tangent: I was listening to a podcast recently and Leona Helmsley (imprisoned-for-tax-evasion billionaire NYC real estate mogul) was discussed. Seems she hated paying for things and would regularly illegally bill personal expenses to her business accounts. She fired people with little provocation. She was also famous for just not paying bills - including Alan Dershowitz when he defended her in the big case. Because he lost.
Delicious ironies: 1. Helmsley and Trump were both business and personal rivals and he once called her “a disgrace to humanity.” 2. The guy who prosecuted her? United States Attorney Rudy Guliani.

I'm sure that there were Non-disclosure papers signed as well to prevent him from saying anything. TOo bad for Guliani but honestly, it serves him right...

Every time I see his shirt tight around his neck and it looks like a labia, I think of his pee-pee. Just wrong.

Big surprise and as soon as I heard he was charging 20k a day I thought I bet he never gets paid. He has been stiffing people for decades.

It continues even after relationship ends, even if client dies.

Trump stiffing vendors goes waaaaayyyy back. I have a friend who was stiffed for his landscape architecture work at Trump Tower in Manhattan back in the 80s. He designed the garden with that gold globe statue.

I am sure that Trump screwing him over is his biggest poor me moment right now. Can’t say I am also not ecstatic that Middlebury College revoke the honorary degree they awarded him. 👍

And people KNOW that trump has no loyalty to anyone. What makes them think that they are so special that he (trump) wouldn’t do It to them? I don’t get it. I know if a person has a history of giving people the shaft I’m not gonna do business with them.
