well, because you know, the *Democrats* wanted to impeach DT the minute he became president... Yeah, because he broke the emoluments clause from the very beginning. Let's not think about THAT, though.

i still do not understand how educated supposedly smart individuals believe that QAnon shit!?!? She has a bachelor's in Business Administration from UGA. Not to take anything away from anyone with a business administration degree (I only have an associates in multimedia production from a community college myself), but it isn't like she's a political Rhodes scholar. You have to keep in mind that rural northwest Georgia isn't exactly a shining beacon for the educated, and it is very common (especially in the rural South) for politicians to be elected via the "good 'ol boy/girl" system instead of their qualifications. It's exceedingly rare in my area (where Mo Brooks ran unopposed) for Republicans to even HAVE an opponent, much less one that is able to win. Add to that the distaste everyday people have for being a "politician" and basically you get a bunch of ignorant sycophants that will believe or pretend to believe whatever gains them the most power. I honestly believe that there should be a test on the functions of government that candidates have to pass before they're even allowed to run for public office.

I also think there is a, "we know things that are being hidden from you". If they join the cult they will find out all the hidden secrets the MEDIA refuses to report about. I think they were all just geeks from HS who were the loners that everyone picked on and now they can be the bully to pay the "elites" back.

My friends and I were the geeky loners who were picked on. Not a single one of us is a Q follower (as a matter of fact, very few of us are Republicans). The people who are screeching and whining about the election being "stolen" are the former cheerleaders and star baseball players that I went to high school with - which makes it infinitely more insidious because they are the "business & community leaders" around here and people listen to what they say - the same way they wanted the twice impeached president to win because he's a "good business man". I'm more inclined to believe that they're overgrown frat boys and sorority girls who've been told over and over again that "THEY" are taking over and good god fearing white people might lose a scintilla of the privilege that they have always believed they are entitled to.

SAY IT LOUDER! That "invisible man" bullshit is a lie. These are often people desperate to hold on to the power and privilege afforded them.

Reliving their glory days in their heads. They are now people who can not reason or critically think to save their lives. They are looking around for the Queen mean girl to tell them what to do or something. I swear one day I’m going to market some nothing thing to them and if I hit it just right it’ll be like the emperors new clothes.

It’s kind of hard for Biden to abuse power he doesn’t even have yet? She would have been better off not announcing it a week before he had said power and given him a hot minute to ‘abuse’ it
This way you know she’s full of crap and doesn’t have a leg to stand on.
I was waiting for something like this to happen right after Biden made a nationwide covid mandate of some kind, which would be his job. But she’s just preemptively deciding he’s going to abuse the power he doesn’t have yet.

I think it is really hard to stereotype who the Trump supporters are. The people that I personally know that are Trump supporters are all over the board when it comes to job and education. When I drive around, it seems more common to see Trump signs in the yards of rundown houses out in the country, but there are also nice houses that have signs as well. It seems that the more vocal are those who are uneducated but that doesn't necessarily mean that the others don't believe the same things. They just know better than to talk about it.

She reported Keith Olbermann to the FBI because he tweeted you are going to prison, traitor. ETA: I don't know if I posted this right. I can't see tweets when I use my laptop.

WHAT?! Wait, does that mean Canada is a communist country? Um no. And our Federal government doesn't CONTROL how each Province sets up their own Universal Healthcare. They hand over tranfers of money. We don't have corporations controling on who lives and who dies. If the USA goes to Universal Healthcare, it will follow more of the models done in countries like Canada, the UK etc.

Let's not think about THAT, though. Remember when we'd get SO outraged over the emoluments & Hatch Act violations back then? Little did we know they'd become almost daily occurrences and we'd need to pace ourselves.
We were such newbies to Trumplandia back then.
