Five more days until the Keystone Cops are no longer in charge. Nice to know. I am group 1b, but cannot make an appointment yet and they are now including 65-74. I got the email this morning to make an appointment, but none available. Ditto- no appts available

Just for the record, the award he gave to Toby Keith (also Ricky Skaggs, dammit) last week was actually the National Medal of Arts, not the Medal of Honor. Slightly less offensive. But after giving the Medal of Honor to Nunez, Jordan, and Limbaugh, it doesn’t really matter what else he does to trash it anyway, does it?

I heard someone pose this question in a discussion of whether to have a Senate trial even though conviction by 2/3rds is unlikely.
Do you want to see the New York Times 2” headline reading “TRUMP ACQUITTED AGAIN!”?

I’m assuming I’m not up on the priority list to have an appt yet. But I just feel like having a date would make me feel ‘better’ even if it is months from now. I hope that vaccine supply & distribution might improve when someone -anyone cares lol because it is not a priority currently.

There is talk among Republicans in Congress that Jordan and Representative Elise Stefanik may be among those defending Trump at a Senate impeachment trial, according to a person familiar with the matter. Wonderful. The impeachment hearings will be nothing but yelling and screeching that the Dems didn't accept the election back in 2016, so this is only fair. And ask yourself, why, if the Capitol was under attack for 3-4 hours last, wasn't the 'impeached cheeto' whisked away to a safe location, per protocol? Did he tell his SS agents that he was safe, they were only after Pence & Pelosi? Because he knew the plans in the Capitol?

Although we don't know if he was in the bunker, but thinking he wasn't, he was tweeting. But he didn't answer any calls for help,... Hummmm..

They’re going after trump. Good. It is good, but, why did everyone wait so long to start scrutinizing him? His actions include: The Muslim ban (48 hours after taking office), babies in cages, building a wall, and stopping most legal immigration from brown countries, tax breaks that only benefit the upper 4%, destroying environmental protections, secret meetings with Putin, Kim and Erdogan, incompetent political and Cabinet appointments, and a revolving door of staff, ignoring the Saudis killing a journalist, millions spent on his golfing trip, misuse of government funds by his kids in travel and SS protection, Hatch Act violations, Emolument's clause violations, his actions regarding the BLM protests, withdrawing the US from NATO, ignoring and/or condoning white nationalists, indifference to school shootings, comprising our relations with all foreign countries (except for those countries run by despots) chronic lying by his reps, negligence on the Covid situation, allowing Putin to put bounties on our troops and on and on and on. I won't even address the verbal diarrhea that has come out of his mouth And now everyone is going after him. While the Capitol insurrections, and all of his behavior following the election has been deplorable does it only hit home when our representatives are threatened? Are our representatives so out of touch that only when it threatens "their" bubble, are they ready to take action? Is it only when the trump brand affects their own business, do businesses take note and action? I am grateful that he is experiencing repercussions, but it does seem like too little too late.

Not everyone waited to scrutinize him. Remember, it was 1 year ago when Democrats impeached him the FIRST time. Throughout his time in office he was shielded by many. He spewed his crap on Twitter constantly. He lied so easily and so frequently that we became numb to it. It might be late, but I say better late than never!

The tweeted article is from yesterday. Today, ABC reported that a military send-off is being planned at Andrews AFB on the morning of January 20.

These people are flaming dimwits. ETA referring to @freddie’s posted tweet above, with the insurrectionist Texas real estate agent who is feeling persecuted now that she’s been arrested.

If everyone gives Trump the finger while he leaves, is that considered a BIG send off?
