I've watched a couple of videos, but I know the Peas will tell me exactly what they think. Has anyone ordered from them? What did you think of the meat? I know it is expensive but is it worth it? Thanks in advance!

If humanely raised meat is important to you and which cuts you get is not important BB is for you.

If you choose the custom box, you can select your own cuts.
We've been subscribers for the past year. I won't say that I think the meat tastes much different than what we might get from Costco. But, it's easy and I do like how they source their meat.

I love Butcher Box. I can tell a difference with their meats compared to HEB's higher end cuts. It it wasn't for BB we would have been without meat for the better part of the pandemic was our local stores couldn't keep meat on the shelves. It's a little pricey but I don't see us discontinuing our membership anytime soon.
Their thick cut bacon is wonderful. Uncured, no nitrates and no preservatives. I can eat BB bacon without my body swelling up like Harry Potter's aunt in The Prisoner of Azkaban.

I'd like to try Ballerina Farm meats. I wonder how BB compares.

Thank you. After looking at a few more you tube videos and a surprise conversation with a co-worker who sang their praise I bit the bullet. I ordered the mix $129 pkg. . The free offer for joining came with a ton more meat. I’ve also schedule delivery every eight weeks. Can’t wait to get my box.

My sister gets it and said the meat is good, portions a little small (but probably what we are supposed to be eating!) She did get the 'free turkey' at Thanksgiving and it was terrible. Very dry and small. And I know it is not how she cooked it because she is a really good cook!

They looked really small from the price point and my husband is picky when it comes to his turkey.

You will get offers here and there. I have BB and love it! You can set the schedule to when you want to receive it. At the moment I don't have room in my freezer so I have it set to 8 weeks out.
Since I have had it, I have gotten free wings for life, free bacon for life and free ground beef for life. I get 2# of ground beef no matter which box I choose. I tend to stick to the chicken and beef mix. The pork box was OK but I like having beef and chicken on hand. I'll buy the cut of pork I need when I need it.

Good luck. I found their meat to be very tough. We favor Omaha Steak Company.
