We have four (Disney +, Hulu, Netflix and Amazon) and DH gets some football channel in the fall. Least used is probably Amazon. I want to see what I can watch for free, not what I can see if I pay even more...

Our subscriptions are a bit on the ridiculous side right now but due to COVID and staying home we are saving more money because we are not galavanting about spending money on entry fees, dining out, shopping, etc., so I guess you could say it is a wash right now. - We pay consistently for Hulu+, Netflix and Apple One. Those three run about $65 monthly.
- Amazon Prime just renewed, too. It comes out to about $11/month
- We subscribe to Sling during football season so DH can get all the college and pro football games. That is usually five months at $42/month.
- I cancelled HBO and CBS All Access last month since they weren't being used a lot.
- We get Disney+, ESPN+ and regular Hulu (with commercials) through Verizon for free.
All in all - for television purposes - we spend around $75/month (minus Sling) for streaming services which is better than the almost $200/month we were spending on cable TV or satellite TV five years ago when we cut the cord.
Another subscription I did not include above is Adobe Creative Cloud. I get at a student discount so that helps quite a bit. This one is non-negotiable since I use the tools for my major hobby. We don't really have a limit but I do review our subscriptions on a quarterly basis and if they are not being used I will cancel the service. THis is how I felt too. I ordered Starz (6 months for $25) so i could watch some movies and series (outlander, The Spanish Princess, etc). I will cancel that at the end of Jan. ETA: DH is now subscribing to HBO Max so we could watch WW1984 and he was watching the West Wing. Sounds like he is keeping it, but it is the most expensive service at $14 a month, i think. DH and DD were watching all the marvel movies in order, but they finished, and I hardly watched it, so I just cancelled Disney +. We have Sling for network TV. I will be pissed if they remove stuff like Food network, HGTV, E!, etc. I have Netflix and we watch a lot on that. I have Prime and watch some things through that. DD uses it too. I have the Hulu with commerical subscription that is $1.99 a month, I watch a few things there. DH gets CBS All Access for some shows and sports.

I bought the cheapest ROKU stick and plugged that in. I like that I can just run it from my phone or the little remote. can you run the newer apps thru the Roku stick and get a good, seamless picture? my DH tried mirroring a Discovery+ show (Planet Earth, narrated by David Attenborough) from his iPad but we got so disgusted with the stuttering picture that we couldn't watch any more than a minute or two. eta: the Cox store also gave us one of those plug-in things with the internet package, but for some reason DH thought he wouldn't need it. maybe THAT is supposed to work like a Roku stick. hmmm... I think you really need a streaming device, even with a smart TV. It is a lot to understand at first, but it gets easier, I promise. I use a Roku and could not be happier. I watch Discovery+ with no issues at all (among other things)

When I first cut the cord, I had Hulu Live, Philo Netflix (had before) and Prime (for shipping). I then mounted an outdoor antenna and cut hulu live out. So I went from very expensive cable to less expensive streaming, to now, even less expensive streaming. At this time I have Netflix, Philo, Prime and i have the disney/ESPN/Hulu bundle through Verizon,as well as disney + through verizon. I have more to watch than I will every have hours in the day.
One thing to look for are the free (usually with ads) services such as Tubi, Crackle,Pluto etc. There really is a lot of good stuff there as well. Also, check with your library to see what is available there. I use hoopla with my library card for 8 free check outs per month. The selection is limited, but free and a way to supplement your paid services.

Whatever I have now is my absolute limit. If I want more, I’m going to drop something to get it.
In addition to Netflix, prime, Disney plus, apple plus and Hulu (free version) we also have cable with HBO Max and I pay for STARZ . The other day there were a couple shows I wanted to watch and they give you the first episode for free and then make you pay, uh-nope. It’s a slippery slope so I’m sticking to what I have. The first thing I’d drop is Disney, but the boys in my house like some of the shows.

We just got fiber internet on Monday. But our smart tv is from 2014 so it’s out of date but can’t be updated. It plays vudu and Netflix. I also have Hulu for our other devices. But until we decide to buy a newer tv were not getting anymore. When that happens o think we’ll upgrade our Hulu to get more channels but it has most of our shows anyways.

We get Hulu for free with our phone plan, and I don't really count Amazon since it's more for shipping and items than for content. I don't watch it much. We also have Disney+ and Netflix, and I'm not interested in subscribing to anything else. DH has tossed around several others like CBS, but I'm not budging since we also pay for Google Fiber internet and TV.

In addition to a bottom tier cable package we have Prime (with HBO & BritBox), Netflix and Hulu. DD has Disney+.
I don't see adding anything more right now although I'm tempted by Apple.

I'm cutting cable directly after the Superbowl.
I have Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hulu (this is free) and HBO Max or Plus or whatever it's called.
I wish I had Disney, but I refuse to add one more thing.

We cut the cord in 2015, and went antenna only for a long time. Now we have (in the order we added them):
Netflix Amazon (really have for shipping, but do watch a few things occasionally) PBS Passport Hulu with ads Disney+ with the ESPN/Hulu bundle AppleTV+ (free, probably won't add it)
Add/drop as needed: HBO CBS AMC+ (watching A Discovery of Witches S2 right now)
We may add Peacock someday.
Other subs: Grammarly Spotify Premium

I suspended Netflix for several months because we had all we could watch with Hulu and Amazon Prime. I added Netflix back over the summer since there was nothing on regular TV and it is still sparse. When things go back to normal, I expect we will alternate again between Hulu and Netflix because we just can't watch that much at one time in a 2 person household. We don't have cable so subscriptions are all we have.
I have the cheapest Hulu with commercials - they don't bother me and often they skip them anyway. No interest at all in Disney and I'll wait on Showtime, HBO and others to retire programming to regular Hulu rather than pay the extra for a subscription.
So we are pretty cheap. You mentioned Fixer Upper. That's on Hulu, I think. Check to see if what you want to watch is already on something you subscribe to or something that would be a better deal. Many shows are on multiple platforms.

You must have a magical Disney +account to just be able to pause it.  Everything I see on their site says that is not possible and that you have to cancel.  Same with CBS All Access.  Netflix is super easy to pause though. Does it matter what the buttons are called? Is hitting stop/start harder than hitting pause/unpause? You hit the button. You stop getting charged. If you want to watch it again, you go back into the app and hit start. All your account info is still there and you don’t have to do anything or reenter any info to start the streaming back up. Do they prorate for the days you used per month? Or do you pay for the full month even if you’ve only watched one show and paused again?

My limit is "as cheap as possible" lol
We cut the cord in 2018 and currently do -- netflix, frndlytv, prime video, and then free disney+ through my boyfriend's phone. I also get spotify 2-3 times a year when they throw out the "3 months for 9.99", otherwise I suffer through their never ending commercials. I have two hulu accounts and bounce between them every year for the black friday deal because we don't mind the cheapest option with commercials. During the summer I'll get all access for big brother feeds and thats ~18 or so, but more often they'll have a free month code for the summer and when you go to unsubscribe they'll give you an extra month free so I really only end up paying for the middle month of feeds.
Monthly I think things come out to $35 (14 + 8 + 2 + ~11) which isn't too bad. I have antenna's in a few rooms too so that adds in some news and regular channels.

We cut the cord over three years ago. We pay for Hulu w/no commercials, Disney +, Philo (for cable channels) and Amazon video (again, I don’t consider this because we use it tons for shipping. We are getting Apple TV and hbo plus free for a year. I won’t continue with either of those when I have to pay because we don’t use them enough. Network tv is by antenna for us.

My limit is super low. But we’re not big television watchers. We don’t have cable.
We have Sling and Disney+ subscriptions. Less than $40/mo.

We pay for Hulu, Netflix and Disney+. We also have Amazon but that comes with Prime but I pay for PBS on top of it. I have free appleTV for the year from a new phone purchase. I don't think I'll renew apple after the year is up. I'm tapped out with what we pay now. If each network creates their own streaming platform I'm going to be mad. It's going to be like paying for cable all over again.

We have prime (which I keep forgetting about) and Hulu. After I'm done with Hulu, I'll start up netflix again. We also have free trials of disney plus and discovery+. So I guess my limit is 2 streaming services. After getting rid of cable because of the insanely high cost, I'm not about to start spending that same amount for all these services. That's insane.

We have Amazon - DH had prime for ages for shipping, and we don't watch much on it - Disney, though I don't know if we'll keep it now we've watched Mandalorian and all the Marvel movies, and Netflix which is what we seem to be watching most at the moment. We also have SKY satellite, which we got originally for sport (mainly German soccer), but has turned out to be great for movies and TV series, especially as we can choose our language, so anything that has an English soundtrack we can watch in English. Believe me, it's no fun watching shows you are used to in one language dubbed into another language.

We cut the cord 4 years ago. In that time our total bill has become the same as what we were paying with cable. (note: we've only ever had 1 tv and never carried HBO, etc.) For someone who doesn't watch much tv/streaming, it annoys me. DH refuses to get rid of most of it though. Current lineup: YouTube Tv, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Apple+ (no one watches but DH refuses to let it go), Discovery+, Friendly, and ESPN. Then add in the music streaming subscriptions and who knows what else and you get subscription fatigue! I think the Fixer Upper/ Magnolia Network that Joanna Gaines is starting will be on Discovery+. I enjoyed her look and decor style, but it has kind of become 'meh' to me at this point.  I enjoy seeing actual peoples decor on Instagram, etc., more than watching a show now.  There are going to be quite a few more shows on Magnolia Network that are not about Joanna and her look. Some of them look really interesting. I'm looking forward Growing Floret, which follows a family owned flower seed farm in Washington state. So far it has been worth the $4.99/mo for me. . Me too. I guess we all have our favorites. Also I like to be able to stream what I want within the choices on that network. After reading the responses on this post I’m reminded I need to cancel apple+ for now.

I’m not above canceling and resuming subscriptions. Once my kids finished the Mandalorian I canceled Disney Plus. We watched The Sopranos and canceled HBO. I have even canceled Netflix and just resumed it when we wanted to watch something. If the number of services or the cost bothers you just rotate them!

Single childless person who works. I have cable, Prime, Netflix, BritBox and Acorn. I get Hulu free through my cell company (Sprint). Netflix would be my first choice to drop. I have to have cable for Jeopardy!, the Olympic channel, and TCM. Oh, and the Tennis channel.

We have Disney+, Hulu no ads for me, Hulu Live for the family (long story...) and HBO Max. I did a 6-month prepaid special for HBO Max earlier this month and while I really like it (mostly because I'm working my way through The West Wing, Game of Thrones and Big Bang Theory) I'm not sure I can justify keeping it after the 6 months if we're already paying for the other 3 services.
We also have Netflix for free through T-Mobile and right now I'm fine with the free version of Peacock TV.

Because I don't have a fast, unlimited internet connection I'm getting really frustrated at all of the networks making exclusive content on the streaming services. I pay for Directv. In the past, if I missed a show or wanted to watch something exclusive I could log in to that network's app with my directv credentials and watch. Now, they're starting to do away with that and you'll have to pay for a separate subscription. Right now I have Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, and a free six months of Discovery+. That's my limit. When the free trial of Discovery+ is over I won't pay for it. It simply isn't realistic for me to pay for more streaming services I can barely utilize because of my internet limitations.
