That turned out so gorgeous! Beautiful work!!! Tell us more, did you pick out your fabric all at once in advance, did you use your stash, did you quilt it yourself? My fabrics were part of my stash although I did purchase more. I felt I had to have the fabrics by the middle of December of 2019. The ones I needed to add were the lights more than anything else. To start I chose a batik that is purple with yellow, blues, greens, and teals in it. I built my fabrics from there. It wasn't too hard to add fabrics. I did not quilt it myself. It's 100x100. I don't have that kind of space, although I know some do quilt this themselves. My long arm lady did a fabulous job with this. She would email me ideas and talked on the phone to tweak them. To wash it my husband took it to the laundromat. It's much too big for our washer/dryer.

This is gorgeous! I would love to do something like this. You too can do this! Google 365 Day Quilt Challenge. It started January 1st. The blocks you'd be doing now are darks at 3 1/2". As long as you cut/sew straight you're good! I used the Creative Grids Itty Bitty eighth ruler. It's perfect for this project. To start it took me longer to finish a block. Once I got in the rhythm I could complete a small block within about an hour to an hour and a half.
