Maj voted off committees. There were 11 brave GOP who voted w/the Dems. Reach out and thank them if you're so inclined. Eleven House Republicans broke ranks Thursday evening to join Democrats in voting to remove Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene from her committee assignments. These lawmakers backed the effort following recently unearthed incendiary and violent past statements from Greene that have triggered widespread backlash: Adam Kinzinger of Illinois Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania John Katko of New York Fred Upton of Michigan Nicole Malliotakis of New York Carlos Gimenez of Florida Chris Jacobs of New York Young Kim of California Maria Elvira Salazar of Florida Chris Smith of New Jersey Mario Diaz-Balart of Florida www.cnn.com/2021/02/04/politics/11-republicans-marjorie-taylor-greene-vote/index.htmlWell at least Chris Smith hasn’t lost all of his balls & spine. Just most Thankfully he’s not my rep Nor mine. Pleasantly surprised.

It bothers me that MTG said that she “was allowed to believe things that were not true.” Allowed? Who “allows” you to believe things? So is she now saying that Qanon should have been silenced?

Not sure. But what does she mean by “allowed” to believe? She’s an adult, and what she believes is up to her. It’s such an odd thing to say.

She’s an adult, and what she believes is up to her. Personal responsibility for young black men. Not middle-aged white women.

And wouldn’t that call into question anything she still believes, like saying that Trump won, or masks don’t work? I mean, if she was so easily duped before and let someone else tell her why to believe, why should anyone trust her beliefs on anything? But supposedly we’re the sheep ...🙄🐑

"A fiery Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) declared Friday that the House’s decision to remove her from her committee assignments has liberated her to build a political network aimed at supporting former president Donald Trump and pushing the GOP further to the right. Greene’s comments during a 20-minute news conference outside the U.S. Capitol demonstrated that — far from being cowed by the uproar over the various extremist remarks she made in the years leading up to her election in November — she has only been emboldened in her social-media-fueled campaign against Democrats, the cultural elite and the media. “Going forward, I’ve been freed,” she said. “I have a lot of free time on my hands, which means I can talk to a whole lot more people all over this country and … make connections and build a huge amount of support that I’ve already got started with.”" www.washingtonpost.com/politics/greene-trump-republicans/2021/02/05/f3e0a7be-67cf-11eb-886d-5264d4ceb46d_story.html

So scary. We have elected officials in Canada resigning all over the place because they dared to travel during Covid and none of their party members would dare stand up and defend their behaviour. lol

"Controversial conspiracy congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene cheated on her husband... Then after ending her affair with him, the mom-of-three moved on to a gym manager behind her husband's back. But despite the tawdry flings, Taylor Greene stuck with her husband Perry as she made her unlikely rise that has turned her into the most talked-about Republican in Washington, D.C. Neither man denied the affairs when approached by DailyMail.com. Craig Ivey, the tantric sex practitioner, said: 'I will not respond to anything about this,' while the other man, Justin Tway, said: 'I have no interest in talking about anything to do with that woman. Everything with her comes to no good.' But others say the new representative from Georgia's 14th Congressional District was brazen about her affairs which she carried on a decade ago while working in gyms in Alpharetta, Georgia, some 35 miles north of Atlanta." www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9246917/Marjorie-Taylor-Green-openly-cheated-husband-men-gym.html

Cheating only matters if it is a Democrat.
